Position Overview:
The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for executing day-to-day shipping, receiving, and material supply tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role supports production by ensuring accurate, timely delivery of materials and components to internal departments and maintaining clean, organized, and safe warehouse operations. Candidates must be computer savvy and quick learners, with strong motivation and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving:
- Palletize, wrap, and prepare goods for shipment
- Load/unload trucks and manage customer pick-ups
- Verify incoming/outgoing goods and document shortages or damages
- Accurately complete shipping paperwork, BOLs, and process returns
- Manage shipping via UPS, FedEx, and other carriers
- Deliver WIP and components to production areas per schedule
- Pull and stage materials as required
- Assist with kitting and tracking production order components
- Maintain clear communication on shortages/discrepancies
- Perform ERP transactions for receipts, shipments, and inventory movement
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas
- Complete daily forklift inspection logs
- Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE
- Report hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly
- Support safety, quality, and environmental initiatives
- Operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Assist with unloading overseas containers as needed
- Support warehouse leadership with special tasks and other duties
- Comfortable using computers and learning ERP/WMS systems
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours
- Forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up) preferred
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Able to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
