Shift Details: Part-time, Night shift, 12-hour shift length
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Acute care experience with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility.

This role requires a dedicated professional who is responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks. Key duties include maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians during exams. This position utilizes a combination of clerical, computer, and phone skills, along with customer service and medical terminology expertise.
Responsibilities
+ Take vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure.
+ Update medications, allergies, and other information in patient's medical records.
+ Assist with setup for sleep studies and pulmonary function tests.
+ Perform specimen collection as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Certified Medical Assistant certification.
+ Experience with EPIC and EHR/EMR systems.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be acquired before starting.
+ 2+ years of experience working as a medical assistant.
+ Strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ WA State Medical Assistant Certification.
+ EPIC experience is preferred.
+ Experience in adult outpatient clinics and pulmonology or respiratory clinics is preferred.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
The position is based in an adult outpatient clinic with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role may require floating to different areas if needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and support the nursing plan. You will demonstrate proficiency in basic nursing skills and be equipped to handle tasks specific to our orthopedic unit.
After your orientation, you will take on responsibilities including, but not limited to: meeting patients' hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort, and safety needs; monitoring and reporting vital signs (TPR and BP); assisting with patient transfers and discharges; and acquiring necessary supplies from various departments.
Your approach to patient care will be tailored using age-related concepts appropriate for a diverse patient population, which may include infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. + For PAs - Certified Physician Assistant through a national board: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program and currently board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
+ Active and unrestricted license in the state which you reside
+ Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations (unless prohibited in state of practice)
+ Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated area
+ Ability to lift a 30-pound bag in and out of car and to navigate stairs and a variety of dwelling conditions and configurations
+ Availability to work 24 hours per month, with expectations that 16 of the 24 hours/month could be during off-hours (after 5 pm, on weekends, and/or holidays) not to exceed 960 hours in a calendar year
+ Ability to gain a collaborative practice agreement, if applicable in your state
**Preferred Qualifications:**

**Washington Residents Only:** The hourly range for this role is $2.31 to 83.27 per hour.
