Georgia-Pacific in Madison, GA is part of GP's building products division and one of the leading plywood manufacturing plants. We specialize in the conversion of raw wood materials into plywood. To learn more about our Building Products division, visit You Will Do

  • Maintaining and distributing current employee information, policy and procedure manuals and other communications relative to Health and Safety area
  • Ensuring compliance by providing the facility with "hands-on" support to administer and implement the health and safety programs
  • Coordinating and facilitating the completion of all required Health and Safety and property conservation training (new hire, contractor/visitor)
  • Coordinating risk assessment processes throughout the facility (PPE, moving equipment, pedestrian safety, etc.)
  • Majority of the time will be spent on the floor having KCA conversation with employees.
  • Being able to be a resource for night shift supervisors for any safety needs.
  • Be able to provide first aid care and help with any investigation.
  • W ork any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • G ain first aid certification and train-the-trainer certification

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 2 or more years experience in a safety and health technician role

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word (i.e., creating documents), Excel (i.e., creating spreadsheets, utilizing formulas, and Outlook (i.e., scheduling meeting invites & e-mailing)

  • Experience with training employees on health and safety awareness

  • Experience with incident investigation including root cause identification and corrective action formulation

  • Experience with hazard identification and assessment

**Responsibilities**
+ Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting on medical equipment within a hospital or healthcare system to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients.

Building Bright Futures! Brightstar seeks a Lottery Field Services Technician inWausau, WI. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Brightstar equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will be part of our award-winning lottery services organization. The Field Service Technician maintains service equipment at Retailer (customer) locations. Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations within a specified "zone" to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair lottery equipment and communication devices.
+ Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintaining Brightstar equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
+ Attend driver training and follow Brightstar's vehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of company vehicles.
+ Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstar equipment.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $31,096 - $67,496. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Take apart, examine, clean, fix, calibrate, check, and take care of special equipment, systems, and controls, with special emphasis on Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS).
+ Operate test equipment. This includes multimeters, frequency generators, and counters, galvanometers, digital logic probes, and oscilloscopes.
+ Coordinate the removal of equipment requiring extensive repairs during scheduled maintenance periods.
+ Troubleshoot, service or resolve problems while performing unscheduled work.
+ Record and report abnormal functions or out-of-tolerance conditions of equipment. If needed, start corrective action and documentation.
+ Review and document daily records of inspections, maintenance activity, repairs, and other work performed.
+ Coordinate with external contractors on repairs covered by maintenance agreements. Communicate with customer staff and outside contractors about the calibration, repair, and operation of equipment.
+ Locate part sources, estimate costs, and prepare requisitions.
+ Track instrument and part reliability; make alternate service, supplier, and parts recommendations.
+ Oversee the development of equipment, maintenance, and calibration procedures.
+ Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
