Will float to all 6 ICUs and Pratt 8 our Cardiomyopathy IMC unit.
Nurse: Patient Ratios 2:1 or 1:1 depending on acuity
Common diagnoses/Types of patients Varies on each unit all critical care and IMC level of care on Pratt 8- Level 1 trauma acute patients.
Weekend Requirements: Every other
Holiday Requirements As needed we do expect them to be available for one major winter and one major summer

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 12 months.
• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

ICU / Critical Care

2 Years Recent Acute Experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Mixed ICU, Cardiac/ CVICU.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: CABG, TAVR, STEMI, NSTEMI, Stroke, Trauma, cardiovascular, neuro, medical surgical ICU/IMC.
Types of Patients on Unit: Adult / Geriatric
Equipment Used on Unit: Baxter Infusion Pumps, GE Monitoring.

Patient Ratios: ICU – 1:2, IMC 1:3,4
Special Requests: No block schedule requests.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends.
Floating Requirements: Float between ICU main, ICU Overflow, and IMC (stepdown unit).
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 2 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Proof of identification required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
