Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions through assessments and diagnostics
- Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed
- Operate and troubleshoot various respiratory care equipment
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
- Educate patients and families about respiratory health and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop comprehensive care strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
- Comply with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Current Arizona State Respiratory Therapist License (or applicable state license) – required
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – preferred but not required
- Prior experience working in a hospital setting, ideally with adult and pediatric patients
- Strong assessment skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field – required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with advanced respiratory equipment and therapies
- Experience in acute care settings, including emergency and ICU departments
