  • Completing skills checklist at least yearly and provide direct supervision of non-licensed staff while performing nursing functions assigned pursuant to Department of Children and Families Operating Procedure 155-5, which includes vital signs, weights, heights, etc.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating resident care on the ward assigned on a daily basis with accurate documentation.
  • Assisting the physician/ARNP/PA during resident assessment, treatment, physical examinations, medical/psychiatric/behavioral issues and preparing resident for outside appointments/referrals as needed.
  • Reviewing of progress notes, consultations, labs, X-ray, EKG, EEG reports and other related reports with documentation of pertinent care to the resident with follow-up as needed.
  • Assisting in filing of nursing related forms/documentation in resident's chart.
  • Accepting written, oral and phone orders from physician/ARNP/PA/Dentist, transcribing orders/signs and initiating/carrying out orders as required.
  • Completing paperwork requirements for admissions, discharges, transfers for residents assigned to unit.
  • Responsible for providing safety and security in all aspects of resident care during a crisis or restrictive procedure, which includes:
  • Providing immediate emergency nursing care with prompt triage, notification of physician/ARNP/PA assigned and treatment/ referral to Medical Services Unit, calling 7911 or transferring out per physician's orders with documentation/follow-up. Designating mode of travel to emergency room/off campus treatment appointments or as physician orders.
  • Providing medical emergency and emergency pregnancy review/drills on shift assigned.
  • Providing immediate intervention to de-escalate a resident to help decrease potential for self-harm or harm to others and potential need for seclusion/restraint process.
  • Reading Personal Safety Plans on all residents assigned to be familiar with their personal preferences when they are upset to help de-escalate their behaviors and reduce potential for S/R episodes.
  • Documenting all pertinent information during a manual, seclusion/restraint process with proper forms completed within timeframes and follow-up documentation in chart as well as ways to potentially decrease incidents in the future.
  • Serving as resource person to other nurses for training or continuing education programs. Participates in attendance to in-house and outside training activities (Train the Trainer, etc.) for updating nurses on skills and knowledge.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

Crucial Functions:
? Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance where vital to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition
? Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures
? Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
? Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate
? Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures
? Other duties and task as assigned by manager

Qualifications

? Previous maintenance experience preferred
? Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
? Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
? Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
? Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director, the MLT/MT is responsible for providing efficient and accurate analysis of specimens processed in the clinical laboratory to provide quality patient care services. The responsibilities of MLT/MT include (but are not limited to):
  • Use established lab protocol to perform laboratory tests and correctly log the results of those tests
  • Determine specimen validity in a timely manner
  • Inform clients of recollection protocols if a specimen is rejected
  • Identify, diagnose and repair issues that may arise with the laboratory equipment
  • Verify all test results and ensure that they are correctly matched with the specimen
  • Label and organize all tests appropriately to make sure that they are easily retrievable
Qualifications:
  • Medical Technologist - MLT / MT Degree from an Accredited University
  • ASCP Certification required
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and quality control methods
  • Hospital or Clinical experience
  • Familiarity with laboratory information systems and computer technology
