POSITION SUMMARY:
The Licensed Group Facilitator is a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and is responsible for the development, implementation and management of curriculum and treatment of youth referred to the Child & Adolescent Group Services (CAGS). The Licensed Group Facilitator is responsible for the clinical planning and execution of therapeutic day treatment groups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide professional clinical services and documentation thereof, including, but not limited to:

- Responsible for providing the administration of appropriate therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs.

- Supervise client activities and is accountable for whereabouts and safety of clients during CAGS time.
- Protect clients from physical and emotional harm toward themselves, others, or the environment including use of the Therapeutic Crisis Model of Intervention, utilizing physical restraints if necessary for safety.
- Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients on an assigned and an as needed basis.
- Responsible for the planning and knowledge of curriculum of groups being led. Curriculums must be based upon individual client treatment goals and supported by treatment team plans.

- Report all special incidents and documents the same to CAGS Supervisor.

Position Summary:
The Clinical Diversion Specialist will ensure the appropriate placement of youth throughout our array of referral and treatment services for the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court EIDC (Early Intervention and Diversion Center) and CALM (Coordinated Approach to Low level Misdemeanor) Program. He or she will provide clinical assessments based on verbal, written, and face-to-face interviews to determine appropriate level of treatment for youth either referred to the Intervention Center or brought to the program by the police for domestic violence calls. The Clinical Diversion Specialist may explore alternatives such as kinship placement or respite placement for up to three days, in addition to respite if deemed necessary to remove youth from the home. In less acute cases, he or she will connect youth to appropriate mental health and prosocial services. When necessary, the Clinical Diversion Specialist will complete a youth screener, a safety plan, symptomology screeners, and connect the youth and guardian with ongoing services. This program provides services 24/7.
PRN on-call hours are Saturday and/or Sunday from 8am-12a. PRN staff answer these calls remotely and only go into the office if there is a respite placement. All other duties can be completed remotely.
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for completion of behavioral health and juvenile justice screeners.
- Communicate results of assessment and recommended services to referring court/law enforcement staff.
- Administer, track, and submit outcome measures in accordance with program standards.
- Responsible for case management and referral tracking and ensuring proper funding of all cases before the case leaves intake.
- Face-to-face or virtual admission with clients and guardian including, but not limited to, completing all required clinical and administrative paperwork, completing and submitting behavioral health reports and safety plans to referring court personnel, and, when applicable, completing Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations and Treatment Plans for new admissions to Applewood Centers' programs.
- Coordinate and link with other community behavioral health and substance use providers to ensure continuity of care for open cases.
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
- Licensure: Valid Ohio LSW, LPC or MFT required. LISW, LPCC or IMFT preferred.
- Three years' experience in clinical diagnosis and assessment preferred.
- Three to five years' experience in mental health field preferred
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families.

POSITION SUMMARY
Our Outpatient Therapists make a difference in the lives of the children and families in need, working with the disadvantaged, at risk and undeserved. As the Outpatient Therapist, you will provide office based clinical services for children ages 3-18 with issues such as disruptive behaviors, ADHD, parent-child relationship problems, anxiety, depression, trauma, school-related issues and bullying. Our therapists also provide services to adults up to age 24 with depression, anxiety, life transition difficulties, etc. and pregnant or new moms experiencing stress/depression. Services include individual therapy, family systems interventions and care coordination.
We offer flexible day and evening hours as well as the ability to schedule your own cases, choose how many cases you wish to see and manage your own caseload with the support of an on-site supervisor. As the Outpatient Therapist, you will also receive all required supervision hours toward independent licensure for free.
This is a part-time position with a schedule of 15-28 hours/week.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide individual therapy, parent guidance and family interventions to assigned clients and families.

Responsibilities Include:
- Provide MST or MST-PSB services to a small caseload of youth and families in community settings, including clients' homes, schools and neighborhoods.
- Actively work to ensure client, victim and community safety through the development, implementation, monitoring and ongoing revision of a comprehensive individualized safety plan for each client/family served.
- Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
- Actively provide family therapy, parent training, cognitive behavioral therapy, skills building, school and other community system interventions, and clarification work to each client/family served.
- Conduct MST assessment including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Level or higher professional with the major field of study being social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other human services field. New graduates welcome!
- LSW, LPC or MFT, and prior experience in the delivery of mental health services in the home/community to children and families with complex needs is essential
- This position requires flexibility of schedule and ability to travel in response to the needs of families.
- Bachelor's level licensed mental health treatment experience with children and their families or experience working with children and families as part of a master's degree internship program.
The starting salary for a Cuyahoga County MST Therapist is $54,000 per year. New hires are eligible for a $,000 sign on bonus. In addition, there is an opportunity to earn productivity bonuses of 400 per quarter for hitting adherence numbers and 200 per successful case closings. (Estimated at 8-10 cases per year.) Finally, the average value of employer paid benefits at Applewood is about 20% of the base salary.
This brings the first year's estimated total rewards package value to 70,200.
