**Summary**
Perdue AgriBusiness has an immediate opening for a **Maintenance Planner Scheduler** at our facility in **Cofield, NC** .
The role of the Maintenance Planner is to manage the planning/scheduling to improve work force productivity, work quality and cost by analyzing, anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access.
Reporting to the Salaried Maintenance manager and maintaining liaison between Production and Maintenance, this position is responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance work performed by its department. This position is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters.
**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ The principal contact and liaison person between Maintenance and Production and other supported departments. In this capacity, this position ensures that all internal customers of Maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service; takes a continuing interest in customer(internal) needs; able to help Production balance their need for daily output with their need of equipment reliability through proactive maintenance.
+ Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning. Long-range planning involves the regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources. These two basic variables must be kept in balance if a proactive maintenance environment is to be established and sustained.
+ Responsible for leading the group of parts room and maintenance associates in order to ensure all scheduled work is completed as assigned and to follow up with associates about incomplete work and also audit the work completed.
+ Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor); develops model shutdown plans by standard segments.
+ Develops Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each equipment center.
+ Keeps the "senior-level" Maintenance Planner and/or Maintenance Manager properly informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the Planner's knowledge or authority.
+ Makes recommendations for system improvement.
+ Promotes the conservation of energy.
+ Maintains essential records and files from which this position prepares and distributes accurate and meaningful management reports.
+ Interprets and provides historical equipment cost information.
+ Participates in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis.

**Minimum Education**

**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements**
Work environment includes, but is not limited to, a normal office environment and construction site as well as climate extremes found in a grain processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility. This position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. This position requires an associate to be able to be exposed to all chemicals found in a grain processing operation and a wastewater treatment facility. This associate must wear and/or use protective safety equipment required for the job and for various locations. This associate must be able to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings.

**Summary**
**PANEL OPERATOR**
+ Visually monitors and programs computer terminals, as well as operates all associated equipment in order to efficiently formulate, pelletize and direct all feeds to their proper bins.
+ Must be able to dump micro components into correct bins, apply the correct quantities of fat to finished feeds, and be able to operate computerized and manual grinding equipment.
**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
**PANEL OPERATOR**
+ Monitors all batching, grinding, and pelleting terminals and associated equipment to ensure an efficient, effective, timely mix of raw feed ingredients to product the best quality of feed possible.
+ Follows all food safety, breeder, NAE and NICARB program procedures.
+ Ensures that all feeds produced are made per their perspective formulas.
+ Performs maintenance and cleaning of some equipment is required.
+ Effectively communicates and cooperates with Quality Control, Mill management and Maintenance personnel.
+ Requires some feed sampling.
+ Coordinates feed production with dispatchers as related to feed orders and available bin space.
**Minimum Education**

**Summary**
We are actively seeking an experienced **Regional Environmental Manager** to join our team in Cofield, NC. The Regional Environmental Manager will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulatory programs for the assigned Perdue facilities. This position provides technical support for site facility operations personnel at all levels of responsibility and completes environmental regulatory reporting for multiple facilities. The position is to train site personnel on environmental permits and programs. Environmental permitting, reporting, sample collection of wastewater, storm water, fresh water, and other industrial waste management activities are key job expectations. Budget development and management, environmental metrics collection and reporting, root cause analysis of system upsets, and environmental program development and training are other position responsibilities. This position is a leader and is expected to become familiar with the day-to-day operations and to be present within the facilities as a resource to the business functions.
**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Manage the environmental compliance programs for assigned Perdue facilities, providing direction, guidance and advice to facility and operational managers regarding environmental issues. This activity supports both existing operations and proposed capital expansions and improvements.
+ Secure and maintain compliance with all assigned facility environmental permits, plans and other required documents from federal, state and local agencies. Present and explain the permit requirements to the signatory responsible officials on a regular basis.
+ Execute and maintain policies, procedures and environmental reporting systems to ensure compliance with permits, plans and other regulatory obligations.
+ Regularly visit assigned facilities to ensure Perdue policies and procedures are followed and to ensure compliance with environmental permits, plans and regulations.
+ Provide hands-on training and environmental awareness education to facility personnel. Provide guidance and direction, acting as the regulatory liaison.
+ Manage the used oil, nonhazardous and hazardous waste recycling and disposal programs for assigned facilities.
+ Work closely with the Agribusiness environmental team to develop/implement programs and initiatives to provide continuous improvement and environmental stewardship and sustainability within Perdue AgriBusiness operations.
**Minimum Education**
+ Bachelors Degree (Environmental Science, Engineering, or Biological Sciences)
**Experience Requirements**
+ 7+ years of field experience
+ Valid drivers license
+ Substantial remote and in-person communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to grasp new software applciations for recordkeeping and state/federal reporting of environmental data
+ Ability to perform air, water, wastewater, and solid waste environmental calculations
**Experience Preferred**
+ North Carolina wastewater operator treatment license (3)
+ North Carolina land application license with a minimum of one year of experience in land application of residuals
+ Visual opacity certification or ability to pass opacity training within 6 months of hire
+ 1+ year of experience with surface irrigation
+ Applicable experience in an agricultural business

Able to move freely throughout Perdue facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150'), carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (SDS sheets available). Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus. Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment. Required to travel to remote Perdue facilities.

**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements**
Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, lifting of light and heavy objects. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs. Required to sit, stand, walk use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk, hear, to reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. Must be able to lay on back on a mechanic's dolly to work underneath motor vehicle equipment.
