The role of the Maintenance Planner is to manage the planning/scheduling to improve work force productivity, work quality and cost by analyzing, anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access.
Reporting to the Salaried Maintenance manager and maintaining liaison between Production and Maintenance, this position is responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance work performed by its department. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ The principal contact and liaison person between Maintenance and Production and other supported departments. In this capacity, this position ensures that all internal customers of Maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service; takes a continuing interest in customer(internal) needs; able to help Production balance their need for daily output with their need of equipment reliability through proactive maintenance.
+ Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning. Long-range planning involves the regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources. These two basic variables must be kept in balance if a proactive maintenance environment is to be established and sustained.
+ Responsible for leading the group of parts room and maintenance associates in order to ensure all scheduled work is completed as assigned and to follow up with associates about incomplete work and also audit the work completed.
+ Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor); develops model shutdown plans by standard segments.
+ Develops Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each equipment center.
+ Keeps the "senior-level" Maintenance Planner and/or Maintenance Manager properly informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the Planner's knowledge or authority.
+ Makes recommendations for system improvement.
+ Promotes the conservation of energy.
+ Maintains essential records and files from which this position prepares and distributes accurate and meaningful management reports.

We are actively seeking an experienced **Regional Environmental Manager** to join our team in Cofield, NC. The Regional Environmental Manager will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulatory programs for the assigned Perdue facilities. This position provides technical support for site facility operations personnel at all levels of responsibility and completes environmental regulatory reporting for multiple facilities. The position is to train site personnel on environmental permits and programs. Environmental permitting, reporting, sample collection of wastewater, storm water, fresh water, and other industrial waste management activities are key job expectations. Budget development and management, environmental metrics collection and reporting, root cause analysis of system upsets, and environmental program development and training are other position responsibilities. + Manage the environmental compliance programs for assigned Perdue facilities, providing direction, guidance and advice to facility and operational managers regarding environmental issues. This activity supports both existing operations and proposed capital expansions and improvements.
+ Secure and maintain compliance with all assigned facility environmental permits, plans and other required documents from federal, state and local agencies. Present and explain the permit requirements to the signatory responsible officials on a regular basis.

**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Will be responsible for satisfactorily completing safety training and annual technical training as determined by fleet manager.
+ Operate equipment to verify proper operation; identify problem and cause of failure through logical troubleshooting steps and determine corrective action through the inspections of failed parts.
+ Utilize shop computer for the diagnosis of equipment for Mack, Volvo, International, Hendrickson and any OEM Supplier as needed.
+ Ability to utilize applicable software and pass ongoing online training.
+ Must have appropriate mechanic tool set.
+ Must follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations and use appropriate safety equipment.
+ Ensures work orders are properly completed and work repair task description is accurate to work completed.
+ Ensure safe use of power and hand-held tools.
+ Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
+ Ability to follow specific instructions and respond to simple requests from others.
+ Proficiently remove, clean, repair, reinstall and adjust vehicle components, such as:
Brakes and Air System
Electrical
Driveline components
Suspension and Drivetrain
Hydraulics
Internal engine components
Scan tool/laptop proficient
Engine emission components
Cab and chassis
Welding
Preventative Maintenance
External Engine Components
HVAC
+ Ability to follow specific instructions and respond to simple requests from others.
+ Perform Road calls and emergency services as necessary in all weather.
+ Select appropriate course of action for repairs.
+ Evaluate completed work prior to release.
+ Ability to train and lead other technicians in completing repair assignments.
+ The above duties are not meant to restrict initiative but rather to define minimum activities. These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the company as required.
**Minimum Education**
**Required** : High School graduate or equivalent
**Preferred** : Minimum one-year technical training at an Accredited Technical School.
**Experience Requirements**
+ 1+ years experience
+ Must have a valid driver's' license. CDL A preferred
+ Demonstrated experience monitoring and meeting PM schedules and operating repair shop equipment
+ Good written and oral communication skills
+ Excellent communication skills, bringing demonstrated abilities of building solid relationships with all levels
+ Some computer skills
**Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements**
Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, lifting of light and heavy objects. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs. Required to sit, stand, walk use hands to finger, handle, feel, talk, hear, to reach with hands or arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and smell. Must be able to lay on back on a mechanic's dolly to work underneath motor vehicle equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Associate must be free of any conditions which result in temporary loss of consciousness or ability to reason. Work is performed with exposure to noise, chemicals, noxious odors gases, poor ventilation, inclement weather, dirt, grease, dust and machinery with moving parts requiring use of protective devices.
