The role of the Maintenance Planner is to manage the planning/scheduling to improve work force productivity, work quality and cost by analyzing, anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access.
Reporting to the Salaried Maintenance manager and maintaining liaison between Production and Maintenance, this position is responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance work performed by its department. This position is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matters.
**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ The principal contact and liaison person between Maintenance and Production and other supported departments. In this capacity, this position ensures that all internal customers of Maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service; takes a continuing interest in customer(internal) needs; able to help Production balance their need for daily output with their need of equipment reliability through proactive maintenance.
+ Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning. Long-range planning involves the regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources. These two basic variables must be kept in balance if a proactive maintenance environment is to be established and sustained.
+ Responsible for leading the group of parts room and maintenance associates in order to ensure all scheduled work is completed as assigned and to follow up with associates about incomplete work and also audit the work completed.
+ Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor); develops model shutdown plans by standard segments.
+ Develops Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each equipment center.
+ Keeps the "senior-level" Maintenance Planner and/or Maintenance Manager properly informed of abnormal or critical situations and seeks advice on matters outside the Planner's knowledge or authority.
+ Makes recommendations for system improvement.
+ Promotes the conservation of energy.
+ Maintains essential records and files from which this position prepares and distributes accurate and meaningful management reports.
+ Interprets and provides historical equipment cost information.
+ Participates in budgetary preparation, tracking, and analysis.
+ Assists the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager in periodic analysis of cost trends with recommendations for continual improvement.

We are actively seeking an experienced **Regional Environmental Manager** to join our team in Cofield, NC. The Regional Environmental Manager will ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulatory programs for the assigned Perdue facilities. This position provides technical support for site facility operations personnel at all levels of responsibility and completes environmental regulatory reporting for multiple facilities. The position is to train site personnel on environmental permits and programs. Environmental permitting, reporting, sample collection of wastewater, storm water, fresh water, and other industrial waste management activities are key job expectations. Budget development and management, environmental metrics collection and reporting, root cause analysis of system upsets, and environmental program development and training are other position responsibilities. This position is a leader and is expected to become familiar with the day-to-day operations and to be present within the facilities as a resource to the business functions.

+ Manage the environmental compliance programs for assigned Perdue facilities, providing direction, guidance and advice to facility and operational managers regarding environmental issues. This activity supports both existing operations and proposed capital expansions and improvements.
+ Secure and maintain compliance with all assigned facility environmental permits, plans and other required documents from federal, state and local agencies. Present and explain the permit requirements to the signatory responsible officials on a regular basis.
+ Execute and maintain policies, procedures and environmental reporting systems to ensure compliance with permits, plans and other regulatory obligations.
+ Regularly visit assigned facilities to ensure Perdue policies and procedures are followed and to ensure compliance with environmental permits, plans and regulations.

+ Manage the used oil, nonhazardous and hazardous waste recycling and disposal programs for assigned facilities.
