POSITION SUMMARY:
Sugarbush Resort is seeking Experienced Lift Maintenance Technicians to join our Mountain Operations team. Lift Maintenance Mechanics ensure the safety and reliability of our lifts by monitoring, maintaining and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations. The ideal candidate holds a competent mechanical/electrical skill set and demonstrates an ability to positively work as part of a larger team. This is a full-time year-round position with pay range between $19-$5/hour depending on experience. This role also includes a sign on bonus paid 1000 after the first 6 months of employment, and a second 1000 paid after 12 months of employment to ensure longevity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and repair all lift equipment, ranging from conveyors to high-speed detachable quads.
- Duties during the winter operating season include regularly scheduled maintenance, pre-operational, mid-day, weekly, and monthly inspections as well as responding to lift breakdowns.
- The summer season includes a thorough inspection of all lift components, tower work, and grip and chair maintenance.
- Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, gasoline and diesel engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of mechanical or electrical experience.
- Detachable lift experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work under timelines and pressure.
- Must be able and willing to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is a must.
- This job requires the ability to climb and work at substantial heights and in all kinds of weather.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the daily operations of a full-service, high-volume restaurant and bar. The Restaurant Manager consistently leads by example and is frequently immersed in operations to best support the team in all environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Oversee all daily operations to consistently ensure optimal guest & employee satisfaction.

- Responsible for overall maintenance of equipment, furniture, appliances, etc. indoors and outdoors for the designated restaurant; submits work orders as needed.
- Ensures inventory counts are executed, reviewed for accuracy, and submitted into Inventory Management System monthly and meeting applicable deadlines. Work closely with Warehouse Manager to ensure cost center transfers are tracked and completed with accuracy.
- Actively recruits, coaches and supports all team members to ensure optimal employee experience and guest service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High School Diploma, or equivalent required
Experience:

- Must have bartending & serving experience. Experience as a Host/Hostess, using OpenTable and managing waitlists / reservations preferred. Experience as a Food Expeditor preferred.

The ideal candidate holds a competent mechanical/electrical skill set and demonstrates an ability to positively work as part of a larger team. This is a full-time year-round position with pay range between $19-$5/hour depending on experience. This role also includes a sign on bonus paid 1000 after the first 6 months of employment, and a second 1000 paid after 12 months of employment to ensure longevity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and repair all lift equipment, ranging from conveyors to high-speed detachable quads.
- Duties during the winter operating season include regularly scheduled maintenance, pre-operational, mid-day, weekly, and monthly inspections as well as responding to lift breakdowns.
- The summer season includes a thorough inspection of all lift components, tower work, and grip and chair maintenance.
- Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, gasoline and diesel engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of mechanical or electrical experience.
- Detachable lift experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work under timelines and pressure.
- Must be able and willing to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
- Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is a must.
- This job requires the ability to climb and work at substantial heights and in all kinds of weather.
- Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
- Valid driver's license necessary.
- Requires working on weekends and holidays.
- Must recognize and adhere to safety concerns and established protocol.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Boot Fitter understands the properties of the equipment, the interaction of the equipment and the foot, and is proficiently knowledgeable at evaluating the fitting of ski and snowboard boots. The objective is to sell ski boots and foot beds and make modifications in and out of the boot to enhance the comfort and performance of the ski, snowboard and any other athletic footwear presented. This position will also assist with sales of additional hard goods available. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available. This role is compensated at $23.00/hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assess skiers or riders' alignment through visual evaluation and physiological methods
- Analyze basic foot functions relative to boot shape kinesiology and stance
- Understand techniques for boot modifications, stance alignment protocols
- Ability to present educational discussions on biomechanics
- Demonstrate modifications to buyers
- Fabrication of custom foot beds
- Additional daily store duties
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Seasonal Childcare Teacher, you'll play an essential role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and young children. Working closely with a Lead Teacher and the Childcare Manager, you will support daily classroom activities, care for children's basic needs, foster social and educational development, and communicate effectively with families. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist in planning and leading age-appropriate activities that promote learning and play
- Engage with children throughout the day, ensuring safety and wellbeing
- Support classroom routines, including arrival, playtime, meals, rest, and departure
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Follow state child care regulations and Stratton Childcare Center policies
- Wear required protective equipment and participate in emergency drills and procedures
- Serve as a mandated reporter for suspected child abuse or neglect, following DCF guidelines

- Share updates on each child's daily experience and respond to questions or concerns

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Must meet or exceed Vermont state standards for Teaching Assistant roles

- First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
