• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Perform pre/post trip inspections on your tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report.
• Verify the bill of lading and secure keys for accurate off-hour deliveries.
• Drive to destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations and demonstrating advanced vehicle maneuvering skills.
• Maintain logs per DOT regulations, documenting deliveries, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
• Unload the trailer and deliver products safely into customer premises.
• Complete other assigned duties as required.

Your Qualifications:

• At least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• Have at least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer.
• Meet McLane's motor vehicle record (MVR) and risk rating standards.
• Possess the ability to read, write, and understand English effectively for job-related tasks, safety protocols, and instructions.
