POSITION SUMMARY

The Lift Maintenance Department is hiring Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Mechanics. If you have a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, we are interested in speaking with you! Our resort operates multiple types of lifts, and we just installed the longest gondola in North America, Wild Blue. During your interview you will be placed according to your current skill set and certifications held. This will also determine your starting wage. Below are some of the minimum skills to be considered for each level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - ALL MECHANICS
  • Conduct all maintenance activities required to assure safe and reliable operation of the area's lift system and associated equipment.
  • Conduct daily, monthly, and weekly winter operational inspections of assigned lift equipment according to prescribed inspection guidelines.
  • Complete work orders on all maintenance activities.
  • Must maintain an understanding of the current rules and regulations of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board and other applicable agencies.
  • Must become proficient at starting stalled ski lifts; assist in running lifts under auxiliary power and following lift failure and evacuation procedures.
  • Must continually demonstrate a willingness and motivation to learn and develop the job skills that are specific to the types of equipment that must be maintained.
  • Must be able to work well within a team to create a positive work environment in a high volume, and at times, stressful position.
  • Duties and responsibilities split between field and shop environment.
  • May work on lifts and/or gondola Must be able to work nights and weekends.
  • Work with all fellow mechanics and lift supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations of the tramway.
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - APPRENTICE
  • 2 years of previous work history/education required
  • Ability to adhere to all safety policies.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have current Driver's license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required.
  • Must be able to safely operate a snowmobile in all conditions (will provide training).
  • One-year lift operator, or one season experience as a lift maintenance assistant.
  • High school diploma required.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - JOURNEYMAN
  • 2 years lift maintenance experience or 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
  • SNT-TC-1A NDT I certification.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Must have a solid mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Must be able to interact positively with co-workers.
  • Must be able to operate a snowmobile.
  • Must have current driver's license and satisfactory driving record to meet company insurability standards.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - MASTER
  • Ability to adhere to all safety policies.
  • High school diploma require.
  • Working Knowledge of all C.P.T.S.B. and ANSI codes related to Tramways.
  • Advanced knowledge of hand tools and shop equipment
  • Must have current driver's license and satisfactory driving record to meet company insurability standards.
  • Must be able to operate a snowmobile.
  • Must be able to interact positively with co-workers.
  • Must have a solid mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Must have 5 years of Lift Maintenance experience and an NDT II certification.


The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $21.00 - $0.00 per hour and a signing bonus of 2,500 - 5,000 based on experience and level.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs at various heights and/or uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to walk on uneven terrain.
  • Must be able to tolerate extreme weather conditions (snow, cold, wind etc.).

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lift Maintenance department is looking for a Ropeway Electrical Technician to add to the team! Formal training in electronics and lift electrical maintenance experience required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Responsible for aiding in the monitoring and maintaining of all lift electrical equipment to ensure the safest and most reliable lift operation possible
  • Will be involved in the installation of lift control systems on new and existing lifts

POSITION SUMMARY

The Steamboat Child Care Center is looking for a new Infant and Toddler Caregiver to care for our next group of employee infants who will be starting September 1st. This position will start mid-August 2025.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and secure environment with an emphasis on children's social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive needs
  • Perform daily child care duties as assigned including feeding, diapers, play, and naps
  • Register in the PDIS and complete all required training courses including 15 hours of continuing education/year provide documentation to the Director
  • Supervise, mentor, and direct assistant teachers and subs/floaters
  • Work with the Director, early learning specialists, and families to create and implement behavior plans for children with challenging behavior
  • Work cooperatively as a team with other teaching professionals
  • Provide positive guidance and redirection
  • Record diapers, naps, and daily activities in Brightwheel
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and other staff daily
  • Maintain all necessary records including illness logs
  • Work with a teaching team to create monthly lesson plans and write monthly newsletters
  • Maintain positive relationships with families, sending updates and emails on a regular basis
  • Complete observations and assessments at least 3 times a year using our assessment tool called Teaching Strategies Gold
  • Use assessments to prepare / plan curriculum, and lead parent-teacher conferences in the fall and spring
  • Help plan and lead family nights including back-to-school nights
  • Monitor children for illness and follow our procedures for sending sick children home
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of infant and toddler growth and development
  • Must have taken or willing to take the Infant and Toddler Theory and Practice (3 credit) college course or a similar course that will meet the state qualifications.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lift Maintenance department is looking for a Ropeway Electrical Technician to add to the team! Formal training in electronics and lift electrical maintenance experience required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Responsible for aiding in the monitoring and maintaining of all lift electrical equipment to ensure the safest and most reliable lift operation possible
  • Will be involved in the installation of lift control systems on new and existing lifts
  • Must complete work orders on all maintenance activities
  • Must maintain an understanding of the current rules and regulations of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board and other applicable agencies
  • Must become proficient at starting stalled ski lifts; assist in running lifts under auxiliary power and following lift failure and evacuation procedures

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lift Maintenance Department is hiring Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Mechanics. If you have a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, we are interested in speaking with you! Our resort operates multiple types of lifts, and we just installed the longest gondola in North America, Wild Blue. During your interview you will be placed according to your current skill set and certifications held. This will also determine your starting wage. Below are some of the minimum skills to be considered for each level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - ALL MECHANICS
  • Conduct all maintenance activities required to assure safe and reliable operation of the area's lift system and associated equipment.
  • Conduct daily, monthly, and weekly winter operational inspections of assigned lift equipment according to prescribed inspection guidelines.
  • Complete work orders on all maintenance activities.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of food and beverage will be responsible for providing support and strategic direction to the overall food and beverage functions of the hotel including a full-service restaurant, quick service restaurant, seasonal pool operation, and hotel banquets. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant, hotel, and event operations at the hotel to ensure excellence in guest service, hospitality, and food quality.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Steamboat Child Care Center is looking for a new Infant and Toddler Caregiver to care for our next group of employee infants who will be starting September 1st. This position will start mid-August 2025.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and secure environment with an emphasis on children's social-emotional, physical, language and cognitive needs
  • Perform daily child care duties as assigned including feeding, diapers, play, and naps
  • Register in the PDIS and complete all required training courses including 15 hours of continuing education/year provide documentation to the Director
  • Supervise, mentor, and direct assistant teachers and subs/floaters
  • Work with the Director, early learning specialists, and families to create and implement behavior plans for children with challenging behavior
  • Work cooperatively as a team with other teaching professionals
  • Provide positive guidance and redirection
  • Record diapers, naps, and daily activities in Brightwheel
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and other staff daily
  • Maintain all necessary records including illness logs
  • Work with a teaching team to create monthly lesson plans and write monthly newsletters
  • Maintain positive relationships with families, sending updates and emails on a regular basis
  • Complete observations and assessments at least 3 times a year using our assessment tool called Teaching Strategies Gold
  • Use assessments to prepare / plan curriculum, and lead parent-teacher conferences in the fall and spring
  • Help plan and lead family nights including back-to-school nights
  • Monitor children for illness and follow our procedures for sending sick children home
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of infant and toddler growth and development
  • Must have taken or willing to take the Infant and Toddler Theory and Practice (3 credit) college course or a similar course that will meet the state qualifications.
  • Knowledge of infant and toddler development and willingness to stay up to date with current best practices
  • Must demonstrate an interest in young children and a concern for their proper care and well-being
  • Flexibility to care for children of all ages birth-5 years
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor under stressful situations
  • Ability to provide positive guidance and redirection to all children, at all times
  • Ability to maintain professional communication with parents, supervisors, co-teachers, and assistants
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a teaching team to create a safe and cognitively stimulating environment
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety policies and program policies and procedures
  • Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • The Infant and Toddler Primary Caregiver must be qualified as an Infant Program Supervisor, a registered nurse, or at the very least, an Infant Program Early Childhood Teacher.
  • An adult who holds a current Early Childhood Professional credential level III version 2.0


The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: Starting at $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Steamboat Grand Hotel is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our iconic 182-key property, which includes hotel rooms, condominiums, and penthouses spanning 400,000 square feet. With 17,000 square feet of conference and event space, this role offers a rare opportunity to oversee a multifaceted hospitality operation in one of Colorado's premier mountain destinations.

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including employee engagement, staff leadership, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and strategic planning. You'll champion a culture of accountability, respect, and empowerment while driving operational excellence and enhancing the guest experience.
