Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing. This role works within the Vascular Hospital Unit and assists with education of nurses, PCA's and onboarding of other staff as assigned.
  • Responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family.
  • As an advanced practitioner, the Nurse Clinician is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing - required
  • Knowledge of Vascular patient population preferred
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and in depth knowledge in specialty area.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire - required

$78,773.63 - $122,099.12 The Nurse Clinician is a nurse who, through clinical experience, study and supervise practice in patient care at the masters or doctoral level, has gained expertise in a specific specialty area of patient care services.
