Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our established healthcare team located conveniently 1 hour and 20 minutes east of Raleigh, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional eye care services to a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat various ocular conditions, diseases, and injuries.
- Perform surgical procedures including cataract surgery, LASIK, and other specialized interventions as needed.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients on eye health, conditions, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of residency training in Ophthalmology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
- Valid state medical license (or eligibility) to practice in North Carolina.
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A new opportunity is available for our Critical Care as an RN Manager for Telemetry/ICU. Our Telemetry unit is 22 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surg. In addition, our 18-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to patient ratio. Patients treated on this included vents, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA and a mix op intermediate care.
This position reports to the Director of Critical Care and performs the following essential functions:
• Defines the mission for the department and shares the corporate vision with assigned staff.
• Directs operations and administration of the department under the general guidance of his/her Administrative Representative.
• Develops and directs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.

Department/Unit Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Radiology Services Director and general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer and according to established policies and procedures coordinates total nursing care for patients, participants in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Vascular Access Team/Special Procedures, Radiology and Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

Qualifications:
Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited program. Additional requirements include:
· BLS and ACLS required
· Two years of professional,acute carenursing experience required. 1 to 2 years of experience as a Vascular Access Team (PICC) RN, or Radiology, or Cardiology/Cardiac Cath Lab RN preferred.
