- Responsible for the development, planning, of curriculum writing of groups being lead. These curricula are to be completed and approved by the supervisor prior to all group sessions and are due prior to the commencement of any new therapeutic group.
- Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients.
- Provide physical restraints and on call coverage, if necessary, for Residential Services.
- Responsible for daily/progress notes for therapeutic service hours delivered, as shared with other facilitators within the groups.
- Responsible for weekly summaries of assigned clients.
- Report all special incidents and documents to the Clinical Services Program Manager.
- Participate in staffing as necessary for youth and family.

Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services and education to children, adolescents and families living in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a qualified Licensed Group Therapist to provide guidance and instruction to foster emotional, physical and mental growth of clients through therapeutic group facilitation, intervention and positive role modeling. The Licensed Group Facilitator is responsible for the development, implementation and co-management of group curricula and treatment of youth referred to the Residential Treatment and Day reporting programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Responsible for administration, group/team leading and clinical planning of appropriate therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs.
- Supervise client activities and be accountable for the whereabouts and safety of the clients.
- Provide required amount of delivery hours per week.
- Implement clinical planning for youth as designed by the treatment team and individualized service plan (ISP) and documentation of derivations/changes from clinical planning for clients.
- Responsible for the development, planning, of curriculum writing of groups being lead. These curricula are to be completed and approved by the supervisor prior to all group sessions and are due prior to the commencement of any new therapeutic group.
- Assist in crisis intervention, problem resolution and process discussions with clients.
- Provide physical restraints and on call coverage, if necessary, for Residential Services.
- Responsible for daily/progress notes for therapeutic service hours delivered, as shared with other facilitators within the groups.
- Responsible for weekly summaries of assigned clients.
- Report all special incidents and documents to the Clinical Services Program Manager.
- Participate in staffing as necessary for youth and family.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Transport clients to and from the program in an agency provided vehicle, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Valid Ohio Clinical License in Social Work or Counseling is required (LPC, LSW, or LMFT).
- Knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, child psychotherapy, group therapy and DSM-IV diagnoses.
- Prior experience in the delivery of mental health services to children in groups with complex needs is essential.
BENEFITS AND SALARY:
The Salary range for this is $5,000- 57,000 (Dependent) and 58,000- 60,000 (Independent).

A Typical Work Day May Include:
Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility
Documenting all completed work and the conditions found; utilizing maintenance computer software as necessary
Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various components and systems including heavy mobile equipment, hydraulic systems, 12 & 24V mobile electrical systems, belt conveyors, gear reducers, and bearings
Operating standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, pneumatic tools, electric tools, etc.
Comprehending mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals
Operating forklifts
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Ability to repair equipment in close proximity to explosives
Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Basic computer skills
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Minimum of one year of experience with industrial electrical knowledge and mechanical maintenance trades

What Will Put You Ahead:

Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) or willing to acquire certification
Heavy equipment/industrial maintenance technical diploma from a trade school, or 3 years equivalent experience
Predictive Maintenance and/or Precision Maintenance Certifications
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining various components and systems such as but not limited to packaging equipment, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, belt or roller conveyors, pumps, gear reducers, or bearings
