**Minimum Requirements**
+ A high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required. Additional training, education, or certification in welding is preferred.
+ 2 years of related experience and a score of at least 7 on Morbark weld test is required in lieu of High School diploma/GED.
+ Experience is preferred in one or more of the following welding processes: SMAW, GMAW, or FCAW.
**Knowledge and Skills Requirements**
+ Basic knowledge and understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models
+ Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers in addition to understanding fractions and decimals)
