Key Responsibilities:
- Project Engineering & Design:
- Plan, design, and execute civil/structural engineering projects, including structural supports, building modifications, and facility upgrades.

- Apply seismic design principles to ensure structural integrity and safety under operating and design-basis events.
- Structural & Material Expertise:

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- Certification: Standard Design Process (SDP) qualification (required).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of civil/structural engineering experience, preferably in nuclear power, energy, or heavy industrial environments.
- Strong background in structural, concrete, steel, carbon fiber applications, seismic design, and building design.

The Palo Verde Summer internship is a paid 10 week program starting in May, ending in July. Qualified students will receive housing during the program.
