Resumen:

El/La Oficial de Asistencia Económica provee a todos los estudiantes la máxima cantidad de asistencia económica a la que tengan derecho de acuerdo a los reglamentos aplicables con un servicio a tiempo y de la más alta calidad, en coordinación con los directores de oficina, para asegurar que se logren las metas de desarrollo institucional.

Tareas Esenciales y Responsabilidades:

  • Mantiene comunicación y colaboración adecuada con el área académica y otras oficinas de servicios con el objetivo de contribuir a aumentar la retención de los estudiantes. Entre las funciones que realizará se encuentran:
  • Manejo adecuado del sistema estudiantil, módulo de la Oficina en el portal y sistemas autorizados del gobierno federal (NSLDS y COD).
  • Realiza entrada de información de estudiantes al sistema de Campus Vue.
  • Responsable de recibir documentos y/o evidencias presentadas por los estudiantes, debidamente completados y según requeridos por la reglamentación federal, estatal e institucional.
  • Colabora en mantener los expedientes de los estudiantes con todos los documentos requeridos debidamente completados.
  • Generar, revisar e incluir todos los documentos requeridos en el expediente de Asistencia Económica.
  • Cumple con la política de Retención y Disposición de Documentos. Además, de realiza un proceso adecuado de archivo.
  • Orienta a los estudiantes con relación a las ayudas económicas ofrecidas por la Oficina de Asistencia Económica, sus criterios de elegibilidad y procedimientos de solicitar las mismas.

Educación/Experiencia:

  • Grado de Asociado en Administración de Empresas, Contabilidad o áreas relacionadas.
  • Experiencia en Servicio al Cliente.
  • Excelentes destrezas tecnológicas; MS Office, Teams, entre otros.
  • Horario de trabajo: lunes a viernes 8am-5pm/9am-6pm/10am-7pm y sábados alternos.
  • Orientado al cumplimiento en todo tiempo.
