**Job Description:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the general ledger and assist with the monthly close process for all US entities. This role is critical to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial reporting.
The Accounting Manager:

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead, motivate, train and foster the development of direct reports.
+ Manage and oversee the daily operations of the general ledger accounting team.
+ Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities, including cost allocation, elimination entries, and reconciliations.
+ Drive continuous improvement of the month-end close process through automation and standardization.
+ Manage and oversee the recording of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
+ Ensure all financial transactions are recorded timely, accurately and in accordance with US GAAP.
+ Perform accounting research as required and in accordance with US GAAP.
+ Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
+ Improve, develop, and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, and controls to support the Organization's financial reporting and internal management needs.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Accounts Payable, Payroll) to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
+ Support the annual external audit process, including coordination with the external auditors and facilitating the preparation of audit requests.
+ Ad hoc projects as required.
**Qualifications and experience:**
+ Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
+ CPA qualified
+ Proficiency in NetSuite and Alteryx required
+ 6 + years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close and public accounting.
+ Some management or supervisory experience
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks, with the ability to implement new accounting procedures, standards and policies.
+ Focus on process improvement and automation
+ Excellent analytical, research and communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Ability to adapt and adjust quickly to competing priorities to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**The Main Responsibilities**

**What We Look For in a Candidate**
+ 5-7 years of diverse experience in accounting, finance or related fields.

+ 1-3 years of experience reviewing and approving journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements.
+ 1-3 years' experience closing the books in S4/HANA preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of accounting process, SOX controls and the monthly close cycle.
