About this Position: 

System Project Lead/Administrator for Mass Production Cost which includes multiple systems knowledge and development required to support Mass Production activity and ensure accurate cost for payment to all OEM suppliers for all model activity

Design, identify, communicate, and implement a plan for completing the MP projects on time and achieving cost and investment targets. Lead and manage major purchasing and supply chain strategic projects and initiatives, including managing Mass Production Cost systems, developing content, providing direction, and support in the development for MPC associates. Prepare and present project reports to both internal and external management members to show project status vs targets.  Lead the development and execution of countermeasures for items that do not meet project targets.  Collaborates across centers, business units, divisions and departments to create presentation content and complete MPC projects. This role with interact with all levels of management within PSCC, Accounting & IT.  Role requires strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills.

Mentor and develop department project cost leaders and assist and guide them to solve problems.

Responsibilities include:

1. Lead System Project Lead/Administrator (SME) for Mass Production Cost Unit:

  • Manage, develop, lead & evaluate open developments, work with business and development teams to complete required system changes, proposing countermeasures to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead representative in project team meetings, theme activity, and evaluations. Conduct periodic reviews, analysis date, countermeasure activity, and report status to Department and BU management to confirm system status
  • Lead and develop plan to ensure end users are involved in testing activities and are trained on new processes

2. Lead, develop, and manage Mass Production Load Budget Events (OR, PR, FC1, FC2 & FC3) into CART2 & managing Monthly Cost Events loads / Daily Cost Load for Monthly roll-up.  This includes scheduling the Budget/Monthly actual events so MPC associates can review / maintenance the data accordingly. Summarize activity and report any gap to target to Procurement Leadership

3. Oversight of the development and maintenance of MPC department training documents. Devise methods and procedures, establish and develop training plans for associates & follow-up to confirm effectiveness.

  • Mentor associates, support and empower the team members to improve their capabilities and achieve stretch goals
  • Develop and conduct periodic performance and skill assessment reviews with the team

4.  Manage and execute the Annual Billback process, supporting Billback issues as they arise

  • Annually in February, lead the activity to accurately set the billbacks for all HSP parts including HSC plant.
  • Support Dual source billback issues

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Cost Management or Project Management is preferred

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred or equivalent relevant experience

Desired skills:

  • Understanding of CART, GPCS, E-Quote, Essbase, Bill of Materials
  • Understanding of Mass Production Cost reporting function
  • Strong analytical skills (logical thought process, reasonability, timeliness)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Macros
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management.
  • Knowledge of General Accounting Principles along with knowledge of general cost accounting & financial reporting.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, ability to analyze data and make sound judgements.

About the role The staff Accountant supports the accounting functions of the business; specifically, the monthly reporting process, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and increase automation . This includes supporting the Manager, Accounting with month-end close and creating quarter-end and year-end financial statements and footnotes. This position is also responsible for helping to build and implement systems around routine transaction processing and documenting the affiliated processes. What you'll do * Assist with monthly close and prepare balance sheet reconciliations (including identifying and resolving reconciling items), as well as routine entries and documenting support throughout the month; Prepare monthly and quarterly account variance analysis . Perform account analytical analysis * Assist with the preparation of quarterly and yearly financial statements and the related footnotes and prepare supporting documentation. * Support the year-end financial statement audit by working with our external auditors, including providing requested support and answering related questions. * Document and keep updated various processes and policies related to accounting processes and the general ledger . Prepare internal control documentation for accounting processes . We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to assist with the full-cycle AP process, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, and proper financial reporting. This role plays a key part in month-end close, including invoice allocation, accruals, and reconciliation, making it ideal for a professional who understands the broader impact of AP on financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Invoice Review & Allocation: Review incoming invoices for accuracy and proper coding, ensuring they are allocated to the correct cost centers, departments, or entities.
  2. Invoice Processing & Payment Runs: Process high-volume invoices in accordance with company policies, ensuring approvals are obtained before entry. Assist in bi-monthly payment runs and resolve any payment discrepancies.
  3. Month-End Accruals & Reporting: Monitor outstanding invoices and approvals to determine accrual needs, ensuring accurate month-end financials. Assist with reporting and reconciliations as needed.
  4. Vendor Management & Reconciliation: Maintain vendor records, respond to inquiries, and reconcile AP accounts to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  5. Process Improvement & Compliance: Identify opportunities to enhance AP workflows while ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
  • Open to GL Accountants with strong AP experience or candidates with multi-entity AP backgrounds.
  • Public accounting experience preferred, particularly in audit or outsourced accounting with AP exposure.
  • Familiarity with month-end accruals, invoice processing, and payment cycles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate across departments.
