Work you'll do
An Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Data Architect job involves designing and implementing scalable data solutions on AEP to enable personalized customer experiences. Key responsibilities include defining data architecture, creating Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas, managing data ingestion and identity resolution, and overseeing the integration of AEP with other Adobe Experience Cloud products and third-party systems. The role requires strong expertise in AEP components like RTCDP and Customer Journey Analytics, data governance, and API integrations, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Data Architecture & Design: Lead the design of enterprise-level AEP data architectures, define data models and schemas using XDM to unify and structure data
+ Platform Configurations: Configure and optimize AEP modules such as real-time customer data platform (RT-CDP), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Journey Optimizer (AJO)
+ Data Ingestion & Activation: Design and implement data ingestion pipelines for batch and streaming data, and oversee the activation of audiences for cross-channel marketing campaigns
+ Identity Resolution: Develop and manage strategies for identity resolution and profile unification, creating a unified view of the customer
+ Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of AEP with other Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Target, Campaign) and external systems via APIs and data pipelines.
+ Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data quality, schema validation, and compliance with privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCP) through robust data governance frameworks
+ Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to Data Architects, Marketing stakeholders, IT/Data Engineering teams, Program Managers, Product Managers, etc. Interface with clients to gather requirements, map solutions, and make recommendations
+ Documentation & Specifications: Create technical specifications to drive development of the solution. Deliver technical specifications documents for customer review. Design custom development solutions that meet customer requirements
+ Manage the day-to-day work of onshore and offshore developers to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner. Work as their technical lead and offer solutions as needed.

Qualifications
Required:
+ 2+ years experience working with Adobe Products, particularly RT-CDP, AJO, and CJA
+ 5+ years of experience related to technical data & marketing solution experience
+ 5+ years of in-depth understanding of database platforms including relational and non-relational data engines (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Hadoop, Snowflake, Hive, Spark, Big Query, Redshift, Data Warehouse, and similar)
+ 5+ years of experience with data processing (ETL) tools & methodologies (Informatica, Talend, Spark, Pentaho, SSIS, Unifi, SnapLogic and similar)
+ 3+ years Experience with designing customer centric datasets (i.e. CRM, Call Center, Marketing, Offline, Point of Sale, etc.)
+ 3+ years of data modeling experience
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
+ Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
