JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist

LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (Home Office)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering employer branding company wide and developing a strategic recruiting plan. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. This position reports to the Human Resources Director.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assure a robust talent pipeline by developing employer branding through the execution and creation of a strategic recruiting plan
  • Develop a strategic recruiting plan that will optimize all potential job sourcing avenues including, multi-media, print, social networks, referral programs, professional networks, recruiting events, etc.
  • Maintain digital and printed content and campaigns designed to engage and attract candidates to our brand as an employer of choice
  • Train and coach hiring managers in interviewing, sourcing, and onboarding candidates
  • Develop behavioral and aptitude based interview guides and templates
  • Train managers on the use of and capabilities of pre-employment surveys and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Administer the company's applicant tracking and onboarding systems
  • Participate in management and company staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars
  • Track key performance indicators as they relate to turnover and workforce planning
  • Develop partnerships with key institutions and special interest groups to create a pipeline of candidates such as academic institutions, networking groups, etc.
  • Work closely with HR Team to ensure recruiting plan is leading to optimal hires
  • Collaborate with Recruiter and Vice President of HR in executing overall HR strategies and policies
  • Other duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or other related field preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience with recruiting , technical recruiting a plus.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Ability to travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions
  • Keen understanding of our business operation
  • Position requires excellent computer knowledge with numerous programs such as: Microsoft Office, Excel, PestPac and other HRIS systems
  • Position requires excellent project management skills, communication and interpersonal skills and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on the Client US hiring processes and policies.
  • Follow a structured work flow accurately and efficiently to include ATS management, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letter generation, as well as onboarding.
  • Be responsive to clients and candidates with a focus on best-in-class service.
  • Be proactive, take ownership and escalate concerns, issues or questions quickly.
  • Multi-task and manage a high volume desk with accuracy.
  • Provide backup to peer Recruiting Coordinators when needed

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Talent Acquisition Coordinator/ Recruitment Coordinator
  • Workday
  • Interview scheduling, background checks, offer letter generation and onboarding.
  • 2+ years of HR administration or recruiting coordinator experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong computer skills including web based applications such as Applicant Tracking and HR Systems (prefer Workday experience) as well as advanced Microsoft office skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive friendly attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written communication, with all levels of clients and candidates.
  • Should possess high attention to detail with strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities or processes

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment - 70%

  • Performs full recruitment functions (source, identify, screen and interview) potential candidates
  • Identifies and approaches active and passive candidates through proactive and non-traditional recruitment methods
  • Coordinates logistics for candidates in the recruitment process including but not limited to scheduling interviews and ensuring hiring managers have necessary candidate information
  • Attends career fairs as needed
  • Leads campus tours for candidates
  • Pinpoints top talent through the use of sourcing methodology, social networking, job fairs, video recruitment, and employment branding initiatives
  • Extends employment offers and partners with TA Coordinator on offer letter creation
  • Contacts referrals as needed and tracks referral candidate status
  • Gathers data for weekly reports including but not limited to open requisitions and offers/jobs filled
  • Participate in hiring events, strategic projects, and initiatives

Effectively Build Relationships with Hiring Managers 20%

  • Conduct regular check-ins with managers as new roles are created

  • Conduct regular review of interview materials and update as necessary
  • Review trends for candidate win/loss
