**Job Description**
The Barista Lead crafts a memorable experience for our customers by providing timely service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable location environment. The Barista Lead is responsible for helping train Baristas, processing transactions on the register/POS, following recipes to prepare coffees and beverages per specifications, and maintaining the coffee bar while delivering excellent customer service and meeting food safety policies.
This is a tempory position for 6-8 weeks with the possibility of coming on as a part-time employee.
Pay rate is $20/hr experience required.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
+ Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards
+ Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
+ Train and guide staff members in coffee and food preparation, customer service, cash handling, product knowledge and other processes and procedures
+ May schedule and delegate work assignments to team and coordinate the completion of tasks for the location
+ Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
+ Count, organize and balance cash drawer, fill out the cashier slip and make deposits
+ Adheres to Aramark?s cash handling policies and procedures
+ Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning and sanitizing
+ Maintain clean and sanitary work area
+ Stock beverage coolers, grab and go items, service ware and condiments
+ Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products

Global Leader New Product Development (NPD)

The Global Leader New Product Development (NPD) will act as the global engineering leader for the New Product Development teams located globally which support new product development (NPD) and design to value (DtV) projects. The leader is responsible to ensure that his team provides high quality engineering output with lead times that are aligned with the needs of the business. Nature and Scope:

  • Execute New Product Development projects from beginning to end

  • Drive a culture within the Product Engineering team based on customer focus, ethics, and a strong commitment to developing product designs for safe and reliable operation.
  • Lead the assigned engineering teams to ensure that the annual operating plan is achieved and engineered solutions are aligned to business requirements and are customer-centric.
  • Foster a high level of cooperation with SBM and BU resources, championing a highly collaborative, cross-functional approach to providing technical solutions and contributing technical expertise to development and order fulfillment projects.
  • Oversee and monitor the execution of NPD and Design to Value projects approved and authorized by SBM leadership to ensure that the projects are according to schedule and budget, delivering the defined project objectives while in compliance with established procedures and policies.
  • Provide technical thought leadership to the engineering organization and on a cross-functional basis.
  • Ensure product safety and regulatory compliance through implementation of rigorous design control procedures and protocols.
  • Drive effective usage of the GTEC teams in Budapest and India to fully leverage their value as a flexible source of engineering expertise and capacity.
  • Develop leadership and engineering talent through recruiting, development and programs aimed at engagement and retention to ensure sustainability of key technical competencies and capability.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree with a M.S. in Engineering or Engineering Management or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial experience with at least 8 years demonstrated experience in a management position over technical staff and preferred within the rotating equipment industry
