GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job provides anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care. Provides accurate medical record documentation. (45%)
+ Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses. Involves attending physician regarding plan of care and involves physician in clinical decision making of any issues that are outside the CRNA's knowledge base or scope of practice. (35%)
+ Participates, develops, and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives. (10%)
+ Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Follows appropriate safety standards and ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. (5%)
+ Acts as a clinical resource to interdisciplinary health care team. May serve as a mentor to new staff or students. (5%)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
+ Current PA RN license
+ Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists

Provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results. (50%)
+ Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. (20%)
+ When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. (15%)

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

**We are currently offering a sign-on bonus for all eligible full-time Surgical Technologist positions!** The amount of the sign-on bonus is dependent upon your years of Surgical Technology experience.
**0-1 years of experience:**
2-year commitment: $10,000
3-year commitment: $2,000
**1-2 years of experience:**
2-year commitment: 10,000
3-year commitment: 17,000
**2+ years of experience:**
2-year commitment: 15,000
3-year commitment: 25,000
**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**
Performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during, and after surgical interventions.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Assists in setting up the surgical operating suite with appropriate instruments and supplies. (20%)
+ Utilizes proper aseptic techniques and practices standard precautions. Follows policy for medication and specimen handling. (20%)
+ Assists with preparing, positioning and draping patients and participates in the surgical pause to assure correct patient and surgical site. (20%)
+ Understands, anticipates and adapts to surgeon preference and patient care variables, and contributes to updating surgeon preference materials. (20%)
+ Performs sponge, needle, and instrument count. (10%)
+ Cares for and utilizes resources to promote cost effective and efficient environment for patients. (10%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Minimum**
+ One year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Surgical Technologist (ST) hired after 12/29/2020 must:
+ Successfully complete a Surgical Technologist program sponsored by an entity holding nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation and maintain a surgical technologist certification from an accredited certification program (including military completed programs). Nationally recognized surgical technologist certification required within 6 months of completion of Surgical Technologist program. - **OR-**
+ Be employed to practice surgical technology by the health care facility on or before December 29, 2020. - **OR-**
+ Been employed to practice surgical technology as the individual's primary function in another health care facility at any time during the two years immediately preceding December 29, 2020.

**GENERAL OVERVIEW**

Creates a clean and safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Performs timely patient room cleaning and provides cleaning support to the various departments; cleans daily in all areas including discharge cleaning, patient room cleaning, cycle cleaning, office cleaning and all ancillary area cleaning to ensure the continuity and efficiency of patient care and daily operations. Cleaning of assigned building exteriors. Replenishing of dispensers in all required areas and collection of all receptacles. (45%)
+ Completes project work as assigned which may include, but not limited to scrubbing/stripping and refinishing of hard floors, carpet cleaning, wall washing, trash removal, biohazardous linens and sharps container removal, and curtain cleaning. (15%)
+ Actively participates in and accomplishes Service Excellence initiatives to meet department goals. (15%)
+ Adheres to all hospital safety standards in the use of chemicals, equipment and machinery and in clearly marking hazardous areas resulting from cleaning processes. (15%)
+ Adheres to the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the hospital as well as regulatory bodies. (10%).
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum**
+ FIT testing may be required, but provided upon hire as needed.
+ Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
+ Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
+ Ability to operate power equipment.
