Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will utilize your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.

• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.

• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.

• Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.

• Manage work orders within a CMMS.

• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.

• Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.

• 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.

• 2+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

• 2+ years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.

• 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

• High school or equivalent diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.

**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in an aluminum extrusion environment, where you will be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance. Your role will include preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and facilities maintenance tasks. The Opportunity: On the 2nd or 3rd shift: Primary duties include providing safe preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, timely electrical support, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience (preferred), a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair. • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production CNC Lathes and Mill (horizontal/vertical) machines and the plant facility's equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and 4 years production maintenance experience;
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience .
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

• May have to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate
