Job Description

The Analyst supports transactions generated by the Capital Markets team with a focus on multifamily real estate asset dispositions. During this process, the role of the Analyst will be to prepare underwriting and offering materials, support the senior team members in various areas related to forging ongoing and new client relationships, conducting due diligence, completing in-depth research, creating written content and performing complex financial analysis and underwriting of significant transaction value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform valuation financial analyses and market analyses
  2. Support senior leadership with valuation models, analytics, research, due diligence and marketing analytics.
  3. Manage/Create/Edit BOV proposals, offering memorandums (OMs), presentations and other marketing materials.
  4. Support overall execution of transactions with tasks related to analysis, research, due diligence and documentation
  5. Gather market information through research, interviews and property tours
  6. Attend and participate in client meetings
  7. Perform continuous market research of specific property sector fundamentals, local market trends and the changing universe of equity investors and lenders
  8. Maintain database of real estate transactions
  9. Identify and leverage various internal resources to produce the best outcomes
  10. Other job duties as needed based on transaction assignment and team structure

  • Act as an accounting resource to support IT development and automation of key performance indicator tracking tools
  • Participate in MRO and its inventory cycle counting program and provide support, analysis and follow up actions that will mitigate material losses
  • Support the Regional Controller with financial analysis in areas with long-term planning horizons such as capital projects, cost savings initiatives and governmental grant development & reporting
  • Act as an accounting resource for development and implementation of targeted IT automation that directly benefits accounting process rigor
  • At the direction of the Regional Controller or Lauderdale Plant Controller, follow up on manufacturing variances identified to facilitate ongoing monitoring and resolution
  • Support the Plant Controller, Regional Controller and Corporate Financial team during the annual budgeting process, the 6+6 budget update, the year-end external audit and the year-end financial close

  • Participate in the follow up research, analysis and reporting on month-end financial issues as identified by the Plant Controller in support of a timely, accurate and comprehensive month-end close

Analytical Support & Data Management:

  • Current SAP manufacturing accounting proficiency experience required
  • Prior experience in cost accounting and/or a plant accounting environment
  • Must be proficient in all areas of Microsoft office, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles

Summary :

The Incentive Services team is looking to add a member to the team that is responsible for the support of the Sales Incentive Plan Administration and Management through data and calculation validation, participant management, research and resolution, risk identification and mitigation, communication, reporting, and insight analysis. To be successful in this role a candidate must have attention for detail, follow defined processes, execute with critical thinking skills, attention to meeting deadlines, ability to work with large data and identify trends, possess effective written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
•Responsible for the knowledge and understanding of the Incentive Plans for various Lines of Businesses and roles managed through the Incentive Services Group.
•Responsible for being knowledgeable in the data sources used in the aggregation, reporting, and calculation of the incentive plans managed through the Incentive Services Group.
•Responsible for the day-to-day administration of incentives for assigned Bank Line of Business(s) including participant management, plan document management, data validation, plan calculations, reporting, research, risk, communication, and payroll.
•Manage risk and control reviews to ensure accuracy of reporting and incentive calculations with the ability to identify process gaps and weaknesses.
•Ability to effectively communicate to plan participants the incentive plan structure, reporting and source validation, and plan calculations.
•Demonstrate ability to summarize analysis and research clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
•Support the Incentive Services Group in all areas of participant management, data validation, calculation validation, plan document management, Ad Hoc reporting and analysis, development of reporting and dashboards to support incentive performance and plan validation.
•Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :
•Bachelor's Degree (4-year college) degree in Finance or similar discipline
•3 to 5 years of Financial Services Industry Experience, Finance department, or other data analytics role.
•Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends, perform complex calculations and interpret data
•Proficient in Microsoft Office products specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI. Highly preferred skills: Power BI Tableau. If the individual does not currently possess these skills, he/she will be expected to learn them within the first few months in the role, particularly Power BI.
