The Medical Oncology Office Registered Nurse (RN) prepares and assists physicians or advance practice providers in the examination and treatment of patients in the medical office. * Prepare patients for physician examination. * Perform telephone triage, communicate and adjudicate physician/provider orders. Provide legible and signature authenticated documentation, as needed, of all actions taken, accurately and timely, to the patient's medical record.
* Perform phlebotomy, administer injections, immunizations and other special procedures demonstrating skills in the principles of infection prevention, reduction and controls appropriate for the medical setting.
* Provide follow-up care for patients that includes, but is not limited to: arranging diagnostic testing, specialist appointments, hospital admissions, etc.
* Perform Quality Assurance functions and procedures necessary to meet and maintain regulatory requirements.
* Work cohesively as a member of the care delivery team in maintaining waiting areas, examination rooms, back office area, equipment and supplies. Also attend scheduled department meetings and continuously monitor organizational communications to ensure currency of knowledge on information and procedures.

**Responsibilities**
Assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician or Advanced Practice Provider).
+ Assist with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse.
+ Perform select clinical duties.
+ Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
+ Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
+ Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
+ Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
+ Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
+ May document the provider's encounter with patients.

**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Position Summary
The Medical Director of Integrated Primary Care, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, will deliver direct patient care and oversee all integrated primary care practices within Aspire Indiana Health Clinics. Collaborating with operational, nursing, and behavioral health leadership, this role ensures high-quality, comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages. The Medical Director will clinically supervise and lead a team of providers (physicians and advanced practice providers), fostering a collaborative and integrated approach to primary healthcare delivery.
Clinical Services Oversight
- Oversees the delivery of comprehensive and integrated primary healthcare services to children, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
- In collaboration with the CMO, provides input on the strategic vision of primary healthcare services, specifically in an integrated care framework, and develops and deploys the tactics to achieve this vision.
- Collaborate with other clinical leadership and teams in identifying, developing and implementing evidence-based standards of primary care into integrated service delivery

- 5+ years of primary care practice experience. Experience in integrated settings, with MAT, and/or delivering primary care to Severely Mentally Ill (SMI) population preferred. Demonstrated experience in caring for underserved populations strongly preferred.
- 1+ years of administrative or supervisory experience in a medical department (preferably in an ambulatory care setting) strongly preferred.
- Must have an active, unrestricted licensed to practice medicine in the State of Indiana
- Must have a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate and State of Indiana Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
