We have several types of Quality Control roles available at our Brown Summit Plant.
As a QC Laboratory Analyst, you could work in a manufacturing laboratory environment that stays in sync with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP). The work will require collection, labeling, analysis, and results recording related to raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, packaging materials and other samples. Tracking, trend analysis, and other Quality Control (QC) related responsibilities will be performed as directed by laboratory systems.
We also have roles for a QC Analyst require writing control documents like Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs), deliver training, perform system health assessments, on the floor coaching, products disposition, facilitate or participate on quality system failures investigations. Maintain cGMP principles and Good Documentation practices.

We do various types of work including performing raw material, finished goods, intermediate, and development sample analysis according to standard analytical procedures. We perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration as needed during analytical work. We conduct limited instrument troubleshooting and problem diagnosis. We use discernment based on knowledge and experience as to the accuracy and reliability of analytical results. You will observe and identify problems with results and report to your supervisor. You will conduct analytical method development work with direct supervision and mentorship from the Lab Coordinator or other staff members. You may sample and label materials as needed according to written procedures or specific instructions, inspect empty bulk trucks prior to loading and appearance of raw materials during unloading as needed. Another responsibility will include coordinating the work with the Production Lead on night and weekend shifts to ensure appropriate prioritization of work.
Job Qualifications
Education:
+ Have a 2-year degree or more in a Science Field.
+ Commensurate experience of 5 years in a QC lab or GMP manufacturing operations will be considered.

+ Have effective verbal and written communication skills with supervisor, other employees, and departments.
+ Are willing to wear appropriate safety equipment, such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection, wherever these things are necessary
+ Will work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends.
+ Are able to work 24/7 rotating shifts and are available for overtime and call-in as needed.

**Position Overview**

+ Directing planning and laying out the details of daily operations for the Quality Control Department including inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by the repair station ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations manufacture's recommendations, and customer required policies and procedures.

+ Investigate, validate, and develop a root cause analysis based on corrective actions for all "late finds" identified on assigned shift.
+ Assuring all aircraft work document errors for assigned inspectors are corrected in a timely manner.
+ Evaluate potential Quality Control department candidates by reviewing work history, training records, and/or practical testing.
+ Serve as back-up to the Inspection Manager or Inspector Supervisor for control and disposition of life limited scrap parts, overall responsibility for this remains with the Director of Maintenance Operations.
+ Responsible for making final decisions regarding airworthiness on behalf of the repair station and those decisions represent the position of the repair station.
+ Fulfill the duties of the Inspection Supervisor (MCN only).
+ Assist with employee development while assisting with job performance (using Coaching, Counseling, and Guidance).

+ Coordinating directly with the Project Manager to ensure proper understanding of the scope of work/maintenance requirements and developing a liaison with the customer representative to preclude any misinterpretation of those requirements.
+ Issuing and controlling Inspection stamps.
+ Being authorized on behalf of the repair station.
+ Identify and evaluate quality problems and initiate corrective actions which effectively provide for their solution.
+ Collect and maintain a file on repair orders and inspection forms so the specific file pertaining to an assembly or unit can be located within a reasonable amount of time.
+ Maintain access to pertinent FAA specifications and Airworthiness Directives.
+ Obtain and maintain required technical data on all units overhauled or repaired by the repair station within the scope of the work/maintenance requirements.
+ Function as a back-up to the Supervisor Technical Library for responsibility of the Technical Data Control Program.
+ Promote a culture of safety by monitoring self and others to assure all duties are performed within the guidelines as specified by the HAECO Safety Manual ex. Confined Space, lock out-tag out (LOTO), etc.
+ Ensure accountability to conduct themselves within all guidelines of company, FAA, and customer policies, work rules, and regulations (ex. Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), Airworthiness Agreements), etc.
+ Schedule inspection workforce to ensure adequate inspection duties are assigned to each project.
+ Manage operations in the most effective manner, eliminating waste and improving productivity.
+ Ensure aircraft and surrounding areas are in a safe condition for the work being performed.
+ Coordinate with other repair station departments, as needed, to ensure a continuous and smooth workflow.
+ Provide quality oversight and direct interface with project management to ensure adequate QC support coverage.
+ Maintain constant awareness of aircraft induction schedules to ensure adequate Quality Support coverage during primary inspections.
+ Collect all shift performance data in the areas of quality, compliance, cost, and schedule.
+ Provide conflict resolution between inspection and other departments.
+ Assure all Quality Control personnel are treated equally and fairly in accordance with HAECO Human Resources policies and procedures.
+ Coordinate and/or investigate and develop a root cause analysis based on corrective actions for internal and external audit findings identified in the Quality Control Department.
+ Correct time keeping errors for assigned personnel as required.
+ Implement and monitor strategic company and department initiatives as required and directed.
+ Attend customer, company work coordination, and status meetings as required.
+ Audit and maintain the HAECO repair station operating specifications to reflect the business commitment as established by HAECO.
+ Assure proper tagging and identification of all repaired/removed parts and ensure procedures as followed on all repaired/removed parts.
+ Assure daily administration and reporting for HAECO's discrepancy reporting and Accident/Incident Investigation programs.
+ Investigate, validate, and develop a root cause analysis based on corrective actions for all "late finds" identified on assigned shift.
+ Assuring all aircraft work document errors for assigned inspectors are corrected in a timely manner.
+ Evaluate potential Quality Control department candidates by reviewing work history, training records, and/or practical testing.
+ Serve as back-up to the Inspection Manager or Inspector Supervisor for control and disposition of life limited scrap parts, overall responsibility for this remains with the Director of Maintenance Operations.
+ Responsible for making final decisions regarding airworthiness on behalf of the repair station and those decisions represent the position of the repair station.
+ Fulfill the duties of the Inspection Supervisor (MCN only).
+ Assist with employee development while assisting with job performance (using Coaching, Counseling, and Guidance).
**What you need: (Requirements)**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Must be able to communicate efficiently with management, other departments, and coworkers.
+ Subject to noises in excess of 85dB.
+ Full color vision.
+ Normal or corrected hearing.
+ Legible handwriting.
+ Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds.
+ Minimum visual acuity of 20/40 corrected.
+ Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, climb ladders and/or service stands.
+ Must be enrolled in a Department of Transportation approved random drug and alcohol testing program.
+ Normal office environment where approximately sixty (60) percent of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office or hangar/shop areas.
+ Must have leadership experience and sound leadership skills.
+ Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Must have the ability to lead people and accept responsibility.
+ Read, write, and understand the English language.
**Preferred**
+ Ten (10) or more years' experience as a mechanic or inspector on large commercial aircraft.
+ Fifteen (15) or more years' experience with an FAA 121 Air Carrier, or and FAA Approved Part 145 Certificate Repair Station.
+ A thorough understanding of FAR (14 CFR) parts 21, 25, 43, 65, 91, 121, 125,129, and145.
+ A thorough understanding of the EASA 145 Rule.
