**Job Title:** Entry-Level Assembly
**Location:** Bristol, IN
**Pay Range:** **1st Shift:** $16.65/hr | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
**2nd Shift:** $18.15/hr | 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM (Mon-Fri)
**No mandatory overtime**
**What's the Job?**
+ Place bottles on the production line
+ Apply caps to bottles
+ Inspect labels and verify lot numbers
+ Pack bottles into boxes
+ Perform general cleaning and sanitation during downtime.

+ No experience needed full training provided
+ Strong attendance and punctuality are essential
+ Good communication and a positive attitude are important
+ Ability to stand throughout your shift and lift boxes as needed

Job Description
Group Leaders are responsible for maintaining quality products, training new employees, promoting safety of employees, and ensuring each department completes tasks correctly and on schedule.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Able to supervise and train other
+ Able to hire and terminate employees as needed
+ Able to oversee an entire assembly line
+ Able to assume Supervisor duties in his/her absence
+ Able to use and read prints and tape measure efficiently
+ Knowledge of manufacturing principles
+ Knowledge of all air tools and hand tools such as screw guns, drills, and sanders
+ Responsible for daily production schedule, inspection, and equipment checklist
+ Responsible for submitting a production report to the management team at the end of each day
+ Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Windows software
**Non-Essential Job Functions**

**Requirements**
+ 3-5 years in a lead role within a manufacturing environment; boat industry preferred
+ Strong working knowledge surrounding fiberglass product(s)

+ Able to stand and walk around all day
+ Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and bending frequently
+ Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material

**Job Description**
Using various equipment, load, assemble; unload parts and components from various machines.
Responsible for keeping equipment running per production schedule.
Inspect parts and components as they come off the machine to ensure that quality standards are being met per QMM guidelines.
Complete paperwork as necessary.
May be required to transfer parts to and from subsequent operations.
Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities within the area. Must be attentive and aware of machine anomalies as they occur.
May be required to assist in the training of new employees.
Provide feedback (CIP) to all related value stream areas.
Cross-train on other functions within the team.
Maintain a clean and organized work area as per 5S philosophy.
Maintain safe work area and report any unsafe conditions.
Participate in BPS Kaizen events both within and outside your area.
Maintain accurate and detailed records (i.e. date of production, problems, downtime, etc.).
Overtime may be required, sometimes with little advance notice.
Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Previous Machine Operator experience is helpful but not required
+ High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school (ex. IN Department of Education, MI Department of Education, US Military).
+ High mechanical aptitude to use and operate hand and air tools.
+ Ability to read various types of functional gauges.
+ Good interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
+ Able to perform the essential functions of the position

-Knowledge of air tools and hand tools such as screw guns, impact guns, caulking guns staple guns, air ratchets, and sanders
-Must be able to read prints and use a tape measure
- Able to understand and follow the requirements, policies, and guidelines set forth within the Code of Conduct & Employee Handbook expectations
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work
-Must be able to follow the Company's Safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) guidelines
**Requirements**
-Ability to continuously stand, walk, reach while frequently crouching, bending, & climbing throughout the workday.
-Must be able to work in a non-airconditioned environment.
-Ability to professionally work with team members, Team Leads, Group Leaders, and Supervisors to achieve daily work targets.
-Prior experience with common hand tools to assemble parts. This will be demonstrated by successfully passing the bench, simulation test.
-Must be able to listen, understand, and follow the instructions and coaching feedback provided by Team Leads, Group Leaders, Supervisors and/or Plant Manager.
-Ability to understand importance of following work instructions to compete the daily work targets with zero defects.
**Other Skills/Abilities**
- Must be able to professionally and effectively communicate with Team Leads, Group Leaders, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in responsibility (work duties) processes, procedures, or work schedules.
