Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced Accountant with manufacturing industry experience to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting with accounting department with the period end close process and other routine accounting functions. This includes preparing account reconciliations, investigating variance or unexpected results, preparing journal entries and working with other departments to find creative solutions to challenges and issues. Prepare journal entries including appropriate support.
Proactively monitor, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.
Fixed assets management, month end CapEx analysis and rollforward.
Assist in the monthly and quarterly production of financial statements, footnotes, and management reports. Review statements and reports for accuracy and appropriateness.
Provide support to other Finance Department associates as well as field personnel.
Assist with external auditors for quarterly and year-end audits, providing supporting schedules, account analysis, reconciliations and roll-forwards.
