Some of the things you will be responsible for:

  • Assess/coordinate all resident clinical care scope; quality assurance and regulatory oversight.
  • Manage Nurses and Medication Aides
  • Train, delegate to, and coordinate care amongst all nurses and medication aides.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for clinical provider communication.
  • In coordination with the Health Services Director, Executive Director, nursing staff, and sales team, perform pre-assessments, assist with move-in process to ensure smooth and timely move-in of new residents
  • Coordinate development of a life enrichment plan for each resident based on remaining strengths and abilities, as well as resident interests, skills, social and restorative goals, personal care requirements and physician recommendations
  • Assist Health Services Director with staff scheduling, recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training

The ideal candidate will:

  • RN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license
  • 4-6 years of experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus
  • 3+ years of experience supervising staff
  • Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
  • Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
  • Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
