*Responsibilities*
* Directly assist healthcare providers.
* Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, phlebotomy, and documenting medical histories.
* Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance information.
* Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health regulations.

+ A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician or similar in a hospital, medical clinic or comparable environment OR documented clinical rotation training can be substituted for work experience

+ EMR system experience preferred
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross required w/in first 90 days of employment

Great measure of responsibility in terms of keeping track of biopsy specimens and their delivery to laboratory. Losing a specimen can have grave consequences. First person to greet patient and they set tone for visit. Must be able to closely follow commands that facilitate appropriate patient care, such as setting up a surgical room correctly or being able to transcribe notes accurately so that patient records are accurate. Must be able to support the operations and interests of the office.
*Pace and Scheduling:*
This job requires constant monitoring of the clinic to make sure that the flow of patients from waiting room to exam rooms is not delayed and keeping the doctor on track with regard to time management and clinic flow. Willingness to take on new tasks as needed to facilitate patient care and clinic operations.

You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. We are open 7 days per week 9am-9pm: Shifts available can be:

*Responsibilities*
* Interview patients and document basic medical history
* Organize patients and paperwork as patients arrive
* Update and file medical records and insurance reports
* Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
* Check with patients and type patient vitals into chart
* Assist during medical examinations
* Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
* Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
* Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

* Working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary is preferred
