For over 30 years, Matilda Theiss has supported person-centered, family-focused, positive approaches - as well as individualized models of care - across a continuum of services. This is a partial travel position based out of South Side and works Monday through Friday, mostly daylight hours with some flexibility to work some evening hours per department need.

About Us:

We manage the affiliated medical practices My Heart Spark P.C. and My Life Spark P.C., which are launching the inaugural national Mental Health & Wellness Advanced Practice Providers service line, with collaborating/supervising physician Dr. Sherry-Ann Brown.

Dr. Brown has made history as the first and only cardiologist, and one of a limited number of internists, with a medical license in all 50 states plus Washington DC.

The APP service line will focus on Mental Health & Wellness for adults, and especially for adults who have ever been diagnosed with cancer - to support cancer patients/survivors along life's journey.

Position Description:

This is a remote position serving clients synchronously via videoconferencing or audio visits, or asynchronously, all of which will initially be infrequent as the service line is developed.

We will provide training in our best-in-class clinical practices for the position. The person in this role may serve clients in any state where the clinician is licensed.

The ideal candidate is an advanced practice provider with experience in Mental Health & Wellness. The candidate may also have an interest in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

Requirements:

· Advanced Practice Provider license

· Experience in Mental Health & Wellness

· Exposure to cardiology and oncology

· Interest in heart disease prevention -- an interest in oncology is a plus

Private Practice – Licensed Associate (Spokane)

Unearth & Rebirth Counseling is expanding as a thriving private practice to welcome licensed associates (LICSWA, LMHCA, LMFTA) into our Spokane clinical team. Our intention is to provide a positive, productive, and emotionally-supportive environment where Associates can grow in a private practice setting. Associates will receive clinicial supervision on weekly, regular basis and interact in collaborative case consultations. Associates can expect to experience professional mentorship preparing them with the knowledge of operating their own practices upon full licensure. Associates will be given the opportunity to shape their schedule in the long-term, receive total admin support, and provided with a fully furnished space to meet with practice clients. This is not a contract position, and therefore your payroll taxes, clinical supervision, and overhead fees will already be included in employment.

Eunice is the owner of Unearth & Rebirth Counseling, and operates in the Spokane area. One-on-one support and availability in clinical supervision is prioritized for Associates at Unearth & Rebirth Counseling. A collaborative, supportive relationship will be the essential groundwork as Associates navigate dynamic and complex situations with practice clients. The practice values building on your resiliency to facilitate growth towards your professional goals. Reciprocity in the supervisor/supervisee relationship can be a truly meaningful experience as you deepen in the profound work of being a mental health professional.

Clinical supervision will be tailored to each Associate's needs and may entail considerations around topics, such as: documentation and recordkeeping, financial management, private practice admin processes and billing policies, law and ethics, clinical crises in treatment, therapeutic strategies, best practices, managing problem behaviors and corrective actions, awareness of transference and counter-transference, and attention to boundaries.

The purpose of clinical supervision will be to (a) resource and increase Associate's clinical skillset (b) advance the Associate's professional development, self-awareness,and cultural competency; and (c) ensure practice clients' safety and well-being.

Associate's Responsibilities:

Align with practice values of trust, authenticity, genuine connection, kindness, accountability, and empathy

Adhere to legal requirements and ethical boundaries

Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of counseling

Maintain required continuing education credits

Conduct multi-dimensional assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans for clients and assign diagnoses for insurance billing

Provide therapy with an interdisciplinary approach and cultural awareness

Maintain appropriate documentation of clinical notes and diagnoses

Actively participate in one-on-one and group clinical supervision

Respond to your practice client communications and admin requests in a timely manner, within a normal turnaround time of 1-2 business days

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field

Active Associates License with the WA State - Department of Health

Fulfill HIPAA confidentiality requirements and ethics in the handling of personal health information

Minimum of 25 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience maintaining written documentation for clinical notes and monitoring clients' course of therapeutic treatment
