Position Summary:
Maintenance Technicians are responsible to the Maintenance Supervisor and shall assure that the procedure outlined in this manual as well as all FAA Regulations and manufacturer’s instructions are complied with. In addition to all responsibilities listed below, work involves the responsibility of performing routine maintenance, and major inspections on HondaJet, Piper, TBM, Pilatus, LearJets, Beechjet, Citations and other corporate aircraft. Troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and engines is accomplished by this position. In addition, component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs are all within the responsibility of the AMT. The AMT is responsible for using sound judgment and technical aptitude to make decisions regarding maintenance, sequence, and techniques, troubleshooting and discrepancy resolution.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all repairs are accomplished by approved methods and techniques and in accordance with the specifications set forth by the manufacturer in the service manuals, the Federal Aviation Regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives and other data approved by the FAA administrator.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of their shop or area, so as to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.
- Ensure that all work accomplished will be completed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance and repair instructions and TITLE 14 CFR part 43.
- Exercise all reasonable care to protect all parts- sub assembles; major assembles and completed units against loss or damage.
- Ensure that all applicable repair station forms utilized are properly completed.
- Ensure good housekeeping rules are observed and that all shop-working areas are kept clean and orderly at all times.
- Ensure that proper tools and equipment are available, and those tools are maintained in serviceable condition and ensure that any tool which is found unserviceable for any reason will be removed from service. He will be responsible for good housekeeping and will ensure that housing and facilities and safety precautions are adequate.
- Ensure proper handling of parts and the preservation of all units or parts during the work process through the maintenance department.
- Required to be thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the repair station manual, FAA Regulations, Airworthiness Directives and Advisory Circulars, Manufactures Service Letters/Bulletins and engineering orders.
- Communicates with the maintenance lead technicians concerning progress of the assigned work.
- Perform airframe and powerplant repairs, inspections and modifications.
- Removal and disassembly of defective parts, assembly and installation of replacement parts and testing of system.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
- Ensure that all discrepancies are signed off with all the information completed, such as part numbers, maintenance manual, ATA and Chapter, etc.
- Displays and promotes a positive attitude toward work and other employees.
- Use experience and technical expertise to assist when necessary to meet completion and production schedules and produce the quality our company has come to expect.
- Assure that all safety precautions are taken and that available protection devices are properly used at all times when applicable to the tasks performed, in order to reduce the risk of possible injury and health problems resulting from performing assigned tasks.
- Identify any employees' problems and concerns and deal with them, if unable to solve the problems, forward them to management.
- Technicians shall have all their work inspected (except for off-site maintenance, see off-site maintenance requirements) by an appropriately rated inspector as listed on the Roster of Management Supervisory and Inspection Personnel at the completion of each task.
- Participates with management to strategize and implement new maintenance tactics.
- Provide leadership and communication to subordinates and employees.

Education:
- Seven or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The Director of Engineering is tasked with building, leading, and enhancing a critical engineering organization responsible for designing, developing, validating, improving, and supporting products, systems, and applications. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, this role provides high-level technical and organizational expertise to guide design efforts, customer interactions, and quality-related problem solving. The Director is accountable for setting strategic direction and delivering management leadership within a key engineering area. Specifically, this role oversees a global team of over 80 Software Engineers, focusing on both new development and sustainment of production items. The team adheres to rigorous development standards for commercial aerospace electronics, including DO-178 DAL A and MIL-STD-882, ensuring high-quality and compliant solutions. What you will be doing. Leads the establishment of a strong design culture and directs systemic improvements to achieve high-quality, compliant products. Ensures the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of design standards while overseeing assigned phases of engineering, including technology, platform, system, product, and production design. Provides strategic direction, technical proposals, and support for systems, products, or services, and acts as the senior engineering management contact for projects, vendors, and customers. Manages and mentors a large engineering team, fostering career development, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and development processes. Oversees strategic planning for products, processes, and infrastructure, while managing capital, budgets, and goal flow from corporate to organizational levels.
