What you'll do on a typical day:
- Support operations by moving materials and inventory throughout the facility
- Construct packaging boxes
- Pick merchandise and verify orders

At a minimum, you'll need:
- 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
- To be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime as needed, which may include days, evenings, nights and/or weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a material handler

+ Perform modeling, simulation, and other forms of analysis to predict performance and to optimize designs around established requirements with respect to EME, Lightning Direct Effects, Lightning Zoning, and Lightning Indirect Effects.

+ Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
+ Wear required protective clothing/equipment for the task you are performing.
+ Operate various mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders, scissor lift and aerial lifts).
+ Use chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and finishes.
+ Be able to climb/balance (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawl/crouch (squat).
+ Work around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock, e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and potential exposure to constant noise.
+ Read from a computer screen, printed drawings or documents.
+ Carry/Lift up to 35 pounds.
+ Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), handle, kneel, bend at the waist, reach (overhead), rotate head/neck, stand, twist at the waist and walk.
+ Route of wire harness to supports per blueprint instruction & Boeing specifications for the 787 program.
+ Build connectors, splice wires, crimp, and terminate wires.
+ Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.
+ Perform repairs and rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions.
+ Perform fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing, routing and installation.
+ Perform Bond & Ground operations to include CRNs, jumpers, ground stud installation & resistance testing.
**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):**
+ Be a student or recent graduate of a Boeing Pre-Employment Training course that is certified for the BPET Assembly Electrical Mechanic role.
**Physical demands and requirements:**
+ Ability to work a variable shift.
+ Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).

+ Experience in a technical or mechanical field performing work with basic hand, power, and pneumatic (air) tools.
