**Responsibilities**
**What You'll Get To Do:**
The Product Marketing Manager role will report directly into the Senior Product Marketing Manager, leading a team of two that is responsible for audience and tactical marketing strategy, project, vendor and budget management for key priority growth Panasonic Consumer Electronics categories including premium personal care and audio/entertainment.
**Marketing Strategy**
+ Work closely with product teams to understand category goals, audience targets, challenges and budgets, developing closely aligned B2C marketing strategy for each managed category/sub-category of business
+ Manage a team of two marketing specialists, overseeing the marketing budget for each assigned category, and ensuring funds are allocated efficiently across initiatives based on individual category goals, then evaluating and refining tactical breakdown as needed based on actual performance and changing market conditions
+ Maintain consistent alignment with customer insights and performance marketing teams, identifying, understanding and actioning on market and campaign performance trends, as well as evolving audience insights to continue driving demand growth and sales
+ Collaborate with performance marketing team to identify and track relevant keywords and demand trends, applying learnings to drive overall marketing strategy
+ Continuously monitor, evaluate and recommend new trends, potential partners, technology, platforms and tools in the marketing space that will enhance competitiveness and efficiency in the market
**Project Management**
+ Manage team and external agencies, overseeing all paid marketing activations, including advertising, social and influencer campaigns, events, sponsorships and strategic partnerships, with ownership of overall project management, detailed scheduling and reporting - ensuring all projects are delivered on-time and in-budget
+ Oversee selection of appropriate potential agencies and partners for each activity, managing project briefing, proposal evaluation, contract negotiation and vendor selection, working with procurement and legal teams as needed
+ Oversee organic social media for owned categories, working closely with content strategy team to drive content and creator direction with our agency - aligning channel strategy with overall brand and category goals and messaging
+ Collaborate with internal content, creative and PR team members to insure 360° alignment on audience and messaging strategy - developing briefs, then overseeing content development, refinement and cross-functional approval across both ad assets and owned and retail web experience
+ Manage implementation of UTM's, hashtags, and target keywords across all owned activities, working with business intelligence team to confirm data is being properly ingested and processed through internal dashboards and platforms
**Brand and Go-to-Market Strategy**
+ Develop and maintain strong understanding of the competitive landscape, identifying opportunities for Panasonic to differentiate and uniquely meet customer needs, delivering this insight and direction to drive content and media strategy
+ Work closely with local and global product and brand team members to monitor, deeply understand and then recommend strategy to improve awareness and sentiment for the Panasonic brand within each managed product category
+ Collaborate closely with product, sales, insights, brand experience and support team members to design 360° go-to-market strategies for new product launches that will maximize awareness and reach to drive sustained sales and market share growth
**Communication and Reporting**
+ Own communication of marketing strategy, activities and results with both internal teams and HQ teams in Japan - utilizing strong, data-driven storytelling to express key opportunities and learnings, and continuously building trust in your team
+ Maintain weekly meetings to align on tactics, project status, campaign assets, approvals and in-flight optimizations
+ Utilize our project management software (Monday.com) to manage project status, tasks and budgets
+ Lead the development of monthly and quarterly reports of marketing activity as well as weekly campaign updates, focused on key learnings and recommended actions

**Education and Experience**
+ 8 plus years of experience in B2C marketing role with direct budget management of $1MM+, with quantifiable performance achievement
+ Demonstrated ability to develop and drive brand and marketing strategy, utilizing a combination of data and empathetic thinking
+ Proven ability to read and understand customer insights and campaign performance data, drawing out meaningful learnings and then clearly communicating findings to senior/executive leadership to drive future action
+ Experience in a transformational environment that required rapid, agile re-prioritization and strong cross-functional collaboration

+ Develop core content on our product capabilities and differentiators in the form of value proposition presentations, sell sheets, RFP responses, case studies, video, and more.
+ Partner with marketing strategy and execution teams on product launch plans and execution, ensuring that lead-with products are properly positioned in the marketing communications landscape.
+ Design, manage and keep up to date strategic solutions catalog, and client- and customer- oriented KPIs and clinical outcomes delivered by each of our medical solutions.
+ Partner with Marketing Insights CoE, strategy, and field to stay current on competitor developments.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 78,300 - 130,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Director of Product Portfolio Marketing to lead the marketing strategy for our new offering, Mastercard Commerce Media. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Portfolio Marketing, Consumer Acquisition & Engagement, this role is critical in defining, executing, and managing the marketing approach for Commerce Media. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and regional marketing, to ensure that the Mastercard Commerce Media value propositions and differentiators resonate with target audiences and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product lifecycle management, competitive positioning, and market trends, as well as experience developing tailored marketing strategies for diverse customer segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive product portfolio strategy alignment in collaboration with product teams and team with broader integrated B2B marketing to drive achievement of business goals.
Manage the portfolio's marketing strategy throughout the product lifecycle, including product launches, growth, and maturity phases.
Work closely with product management to stay aligned on marketing objectives for their business and support integrated b2b marketing strategies to drive performance through various marketing channels.
Drive the development of compelling messaging and value propositions that differentiate the portfolio in the market. Conduct regular competitive analysis and customer research to refine positioning and ensure alignment with market trends and needs.
Support the execution of product launches and campaigns, defining the GTM playbook for the portfolio and collaborating with integrated marketing teams to translate product features into customer-focused messaging that resonates with specific buyer personas.
Leverage market research, customer insights, sales insights, and competitive intelligence to inform portfolio strategies and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Track and report on the performance of product marketing initiatives, using data and analytics to optimize and demonstrate the impact on business outcomes. Continuously assess the effectiveness of product marketing efforts and adjust to improve results.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
Experience working in ad-tech, martech or digital media ideally within both high-growth environments and large, matrixed enterprises.
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, competitive positioning, and market trends.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and regional marketing teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
