The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Full-Time in office Logistics Management Specialist to support a US Government program in Fayetteville, NC. This position will provide direct support to the fielding and New Equipment Training of US Army units worldwide. Individual will provide accountability of over $3M of Government Equipment. Individual will be responsible for inventories and inspections as required by Government Officials.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and inspecting Government Furnished Property (GFP) upon delivery.

• Conducting periodic physical inventories of GFP.

• Investigating discrepancies or losses of GFP.

• Preparing documentation for GFP acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.

• Monitoring supply and demand; developing disposition plans based on low or zero demand history.

• Developing and implementing GFP management plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience

• Active Secret Security Clearance

• Must be able to travel up to 20% (CONUS and OCONUS)

• Proficiency in Government Property management, including inventory management, property accounting, storage and disposition of Government Furnished Property (GFP).

• Strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 45.

• Strong understanding of Government Property regulatory requirements including:

• AR 735-5, Property Accountability Policies

• AR 710-2, Inventory Management Supply Policy Below the Wholesale Level

• DA PAM 710-2-1, Using Unit Supply System (Manual Procedures)

• Experience using a Department of Defense Accounting Property System of Record (APSR), such as:

• Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS)

• Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A)

• Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)

• Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)

• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Logistics Management Specialist (LMS) serving as a supply and inventory management expert with acute knowledgeable of property book accounting methodologies with duties including, but are not limited to: planning, directing and coordinating logistics operations encompassing functions suck as inventory management, acquisition, warehouse management, traffic management, transportation, and disposal of Class I-IX supplies.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating supply operations involving multiple functions such as property accountability, inventory management, warehouse utilization, reutilization and disposal of Class I-IX supplies.

• Conducting full life cycle property control for new equipment or equipment Found-on Installation (FOI) or Found on Base (FOB) from acquisition to disposal and administered property management tasks to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency policy and regulations relating to property.

• Facilitate the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) process, as required.

• Overseeing material management and supply, property accountability and record controls, requisition processing, and simplified acquisition of Class 1X supplies.

• Planning, directing and coordinating the operations of the Client's Central Issue Facility (CIF).

• Maintain and refit of surveillance gear kits, ensuring they are in a deployable condition, replacing components when necessary, and doing the required upkeep to maintain up-to-date firmware and software versions.

• Certifications:

• Forklift operator (10K or higher) within three years

• Experience:

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number NGD1414P01 and is part of the MD 175th ANG, National Guard. Responsibilities Manages, directs, and implements the local formulation and publication of installation deployment guidance based on regulations, manuals, instructions, and directives issued by higher headquarters. Serves as the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO), and acts for the Commander, regarding actions required to deploy in support of Aerospace Expeditionary Forces (AEF), contingency operations, Operations Other Than War (OOTW), and exercises. Reviews USAF, NGB, and MAJCOM deployment procedures to analyze the impact and, if necessary, provide modifications to procedures for the wing and subordinate units. Establishes deployment policy and sets procedures for the integrated efforts of aircraft maintenance, supply, transportation, civil engineering, operations, and supported units for mission essential deployment operations and logistics war planning. Ensures that units meet pre-execution and command and control requirements for deployments. Analyzes time-phased force deployment requirements to develop plan annexes and schedules for inclusion in the execution phase of wing deployments. Plans and controls the movement of personnel and equipment during simulated and actual deployments and exercises. Identifies all required deployment/redeployment support with the Wing Staff Air Mobility/Command (AMC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) regarding the transportation of equipment and personnel. Serves as base focal point for the UTC Management Information System (UMIS) and Manpower Equipment Force Packaging System (MEFPAK) used for identifying new tasking and informing commanders of updates to current UTCs. Analyzes all plans for correlation between the UTC, the UTC Management Information System (UMIS), and Designed Operational Capacity (DOC)statements for all wing and supported units readiness reporting and tasking. Represents the Wing/Air Commander at deployment planning conferences conducted by higher headquarters when resource/ logistics planning, agreements or related matters are involved. Works closely with key officials at all levels, both within and outside the base, wing, command, Air Force, Joint Deployment Agency (JDA), NGB, ACC, AMC and MAJCOM. Presents briefings as required to commanders and unit personnel regarding current status of logistics, war planning, and/or deployment programs.
