Following GMP guidelines, employees must refrain from wearing artificial nails, eyelashes, or visible jewelry, and should wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts. The company provides a uniform and freezer jackets as technicians will be in and out of the freezer throughout the day. **Overview**
Quality Managers are responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of the plant's quality program for all containers working through the plant quality, production, and logistics personnel. The responsibility includes management of internal / external relationships relative to quality (including supplier, customer, and regulatory compliance), management of internal quality control systems, process critical control points, and quality performance improvement and awareness. As a member of the Plant's management team the Quality Assurance Manager also has shared responsibility for overall Plant operations, especially safety and efficiency. Primary duties of a Quality Manager include:
+ Understands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
+ Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices.
+ Understand and interpret customer requirements; convert into manufacturing requirements (define necessary inspection and critical process points and required methodologies).
+ Customer complaint response and tracking: Monitor complaint type and frequency to verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
+ Define, implement and monitor the systems required to ensure compliance (GMP's, required certifications, sanitation, and customer audit requirements).
+ Work as required with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service in completing the above responsibilities.
+ Work with suppliers as required, defining customer and plant requirements and ensuring conformance.
+ Assessment and development of operating procedures and controls for all automatic inspection devices.
+ Define, develop, train, implement and monitor process control points and make necessary improvements for defect elimination.
+ Regularly communicate customer issues and overall plant quality performance to management, staff, and plant personnel.
+ Hire, train, and direct the daily activities of the plant quality staff.
+ Continued evaluation of procedures, in all areas of responsibility for the best practices, particularly in the areas of Safety and efficiency.
+ May be responsible for special projects related to other functional areas.
+ 0-25% travel may be required.
**Qualifications**
A Bachelor's Degree and/or related quality experience; or equivalent combination of education and related quality experience is required. A minimum of five years' experience in a quality supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.

Job Description

Job Summary
Performs many non-clinical tasks required to deliver care, including but not limited to, Inventory Control (parring, put-away), Linen Inventory Management and Distribution, Patient Care Equipment Cleaning and Distribution, and Patient Transport. Coordinates functions within base department or an assigned clinical area. Delivers high level of customer service to co-workers, patients and the clinical staff. Works in a self-directed manner to prioritize job functions. Responsible for ensuring the very best patient/family experience by optimizing all customer interactions.
Job Duties
+ Supports the care delivery process by performing the required care delivery support activities.
+ May assist with any non-clinical activity required to support the delivery of care.
+ Transports patients, belongings and deceased to and from assigned departments.
+ Assists floor staff to ready patients for transport.
+ Properly identifies patient prior to transport and assures that patient has an I.D. band.
+ Manages the resources for an assigned clinical area, including procurement, transport, storage, preparation, cleaning, and maintenance assistance.
+ Resources may include any supplies, medications excluding Scheduled Controlled Substances as defined by the DEA, linen, equipment, or other materials required for patient care or for other required activities (does not include staff members).
+ Maintains a current understanding of the supplies, equipment, services, other resources, and operations provided by the Support Services departments.
+ Maintains data entry to support performance metrics as assigned or required.
+ Suggests opportunities for improvement, offers solutions to the issues, and actively works to implement these solutions to improve operations and remove waste from processes.
+ Actively participates as a team member in working towards the goals of the assigned unit and organization by supporting the clinical staff as directed, serving as a mentor and trainer for new staff, and providing the highest level of customer service possible.
+ Actively works to keep supply rooms, equipment storage rooms, patient rooms, and other assigned areas clean and organized.
+ Provides for a safe environment by taking corrective measures to maintain a neat and orderly work environment in optimal functioning order.
+ OSHA, Department of Health, and Joint Commission regulations must be followed.

Position Details
Geisinger is proud to offer a Logistics Specialist a $2,500 sign on bonus for eligible candidates, $5.25 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals and up to 2 shift differentials for evening, nights, and weekend shifts! Also offering up to 40,000 in financial support to become a nurse!
+ Hiring Incentive: This position qualifies for a 2,500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments. Certain stipulations do apply.
+ Shift: Nights (3:00pm -11:30pm)
