iBUILT is searching for an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator who can analyze process methods and find efficient alternatives. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will help drive quality inspections and proctors on the factory floor through routine checks and engagement. They will be an integral part of establishing and maintaining the highest quality products to deliver to market. Keeping a team focus, the QAC will work alongside quality management to uphold, inform, train, and enforce the standards established for each and every product deliverable.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Develop key performance indicators
* Development of business flow process charts
* Development of time and process standards
* Department policy and procedure outline for operations, safety and environment processes, supply chain management, and compliance identification and conformance training
* Define and implement processes and actions to ensure planned LPI's are met or exceeded in manufacturing
* Work on documentation and record retention standards
* Quality assurance standards and practices review and inspections
* Enforcing and educating on lean manufacturing methods
* Assembly and sub-assembly process definition and controls with automation analysis and implementation
* Job safety analysis and education as directed by safety management
* Map out materials and process flow for the factory
* EPA (local and federal) recording and record keeping identification and implementation
* Optimization of quality standards and practice
* Routine inspections of manufacturing and work on the line(s)
* Control of non-conforming process
* Corrective action process for: documentation, evaluation, follow up, validation, closure, and statistical analysis of inspection

* Associate degree in applicable field of study
* A minimum of 5 years related experience required.
* Automotive process experience desired

Job Description
The Quality Assurance Lab Technician plays a critical role in maintaining quality standards within our facility. They are responsible for adhering to cGMP and BRC standards, conducting quality control checks on the production floor, and performing laboratory testing on raw materials and in-process products. The technician will advise on updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conduct internal audits, perform investigations and root-cause analyses, and complete data entry and reporting via Excel. Effective cross-functional communication with all manufacturing departments and leadership is essential, as is the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
+ Follow cGMP and BRC standards.
+ Conduct quality control checks on the production floor.
+ Perform lab testing on raw materials and in-process products.
+ Advise on updating SOPs.
+ Conduct internal audits and investigations.
+ Perform root-cause analysis.
+ Complete data entry and reporting using Excel.
+ Communicate effectively with manufacturing departments and leadership.
+ Work both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Skills
+ Quality assurance and control.
+ Understanding of GMP and food safety standards.
+ Proficiency in Excel and documentation control.
+ Knowledge in biology and chemistry.
+ Experience with laboratory equipment and microbiology testing.
+ Ability to perform titrations and microbiology testing.
+ AS in Scientific discipline with 1-2 years experience in food quality.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ AS or BS in Biology or any Scientific discipline.
+ Mathematics and computer usage.
+ Bilingual preferred.
Work Environment
Per GMP guidelines, the candidate must adhere to a specific dress code, which includes wearing closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long-sleeve shirts. Artificial nails, eyelashes, or visible jewelry are not permitted. The company provides uniforms and freezer jackets as the role involves working in and out of the freezer throughout the day. The team consists of an Assistant Quality Manager and three technicians per shift. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.95 - $19.95/hr.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
• Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship.
• Issue the roof warranty in accordance with the Duro-Last specifications.
• Make repairs to Duro-Last roofs.
• Conduct on-site training classes and offer guidance to contractors in proper roof installation.
• Provide support to Duro-Last contractors and sales reps in territory.
• Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare reports for warranties.
• This is a physically challenging position that requires bending, lifting, pulling, climbing, etc.
• Other job duties as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance is highly desirable.
• Individual must be equipped with strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills (both orally and written).
• Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Demonstration of strong work ethics (punctual, dependable, and trustworthy) is necessary.
• The ability to complete responsibilities and operate equipment conforming to company production, personnel and safety procedures is needed.
• The ability to read and comprehend roofing specifications.
• Must be able to communicate and handle conflict in a professional manner.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (MVR).
• Must be willing to do extensive regional travel.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to pass a physical agility test, drug screen & criminal background check.
