We are seeking a Tax Manager for our U.S.-based International Group, which comprises 20 U.S. tax professionals focused on applying U.S. tax laws to Cargill's international operations. This role involves managing tax compliance and planning projects, analyzing international tax reporting, and identifying tax planning opportunities to optimize tax efficiency.
Principal Responsibilities- Tax reporting and compliance: review earnings & profits, subpart F, U.S. tax filings, and implement process improvements.
- Tax planning: maximize foreign tax credits, minimize subpart F, review M&A and trade flows for U.S. tax risks and opportunities.
- Tax training: provide ongoing education on key tax rules.

What You'll Do

Lead in the execution of the NCR, Complaint, and CAPA systems to ensure effective resolution to issues and timely completion of actions

Use statistical tools (Minitab, etc.) to analyze data, make acceptance decisions, and improve process capability

Provide technical and statistical support in evaluating products from a quality and reliability standpoint

Lead and/or assist in quality system audits to ensure compliance with internal/external standards

Lead and/or assist the organization toward continuous quality improvement through training and implementation of quality improvement tools

Assist in the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System through auditing, trend analysis/escalation, and the review/revision of documented procedures

You will: · Define, develop, and implement the overall QA strategy and roadmap, aligning it with company objectives and product release cycles. · Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient test automation frameworks and solutions (e.g., UI, API, performance, security automation). Drive the adoption of automation best practices across all projects. · Build, mentor, and grow a talented team of QA engineers and automation specialists. Foster a culture of quality, continuous learning, and innovation within the team. · Establish and optimize QA processes, methodologies, and standards (e.g., test planning, test case management, defect tracking, release criteria). · Work closely with product management, engineering leads, and other cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment. · Oversee the creation of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data. Monitor test execution, analyze results, and report on quality metrics. · Establish effective defect reporting, tracking, and resolution processes. · Evaluate, recommend, and implement QA tools and technologies that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. · Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies. · Guide the implementation of performance, load, and scalability testing strategies to ensure product robustness. You bring: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. · 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance , with at least 3+ years in a leadership or senior-level role managing QA teams or initiatives. · Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and implementing test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and/or API applications. · Strong proficiency with common programming/scripting languages used in test automation (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C# ). · Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Pytest, Postman, Rest Assured ). · Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. · Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile (Scrum, Kanban). · Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process. · Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, TestRail). · Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. · Define and track key quality metrics to measure effectiveness and drive continuous Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. · improvement · Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. · You must be eligible to work in the United States without need of sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is $97,500 - $162,500 annually.
