We are in search of a CDL Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for transporting and delivering products to designated customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate a straight truck, box truck or CMV (26,001 + pounds) to transport products to customer locations in assigned delivery route.
- Learn and optimize routes, ensure correct order fulfillment, and maintain proper documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, HazMat summaries).
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVIR), report issues immediately, and maintain cleanliness inside and out of assigned vehicle.
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, FMCSA and company policies, complete required safety training and properly handle HazMat materials.
- Wear company apparel as required, maintain a neat appearance and effectively communicate with dispatch, customers, and management.
- Take personal ownership of all customer needs with speed and urgency. Maintain the highest level of customer service.
- Assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and general warehouse tasks as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CDL driver, delivery route experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent

I. Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

I. Job Summary
Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.

Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair.

Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting service.

Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager.

Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.

Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.

Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
-
Notifies Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.
