Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group, the leading medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Pediatric Cardiologist, preferably with fetal cardiology experience, to join a well-established, multi-subspecialty group serving the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years. This position is based primarily at St. Josephs Childrens Hospital and focuses on congenital cardiac CT imaging and participation in inpatient care including transesophageal echocardiography. Fetal cardiology experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be board-certified/board-eligible in pediatric cardiology and possess excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for advancing the field of cardiology. Position Highlights

• Cardiac Imaging : Interpret pre- and post-operative congenital cardiac CT scans, provide imaging guidance for staff, and contribute expertise in echocardiography. Experience with congenital cardiac MRI is also preferred but not necessary.
• Inpatient Responsibilities : Participate in the inpatient pediatric cardiology rotation, including performing pre- and post-operative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
• Fetal Cardiology : The ideal candidate will also be able to occasionally staff an established Fetal Cardiology Clinic. This includes assisting our dedicated fetal sonographers in complex fetal image acquisition and maintaining excellent interpersonal relationships with referring providers in the area.
• General Cardiology Call : Call coverage is shared equally among 12+ full-time pediatric cardiologists in the group.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Board certification/board eligibility in Cardiology.
• Advanced training or significant experience in advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging, including congenital cardiac CT and TEE modalities.
• State medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
• Fetal cardiology experience is also preferred.

The Associate Director is responsible for growing the Foundation's planned giving program by managing a portfolio of prospects and supporting the Foundation's fundraising campaign. Their primary responsibilities include identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned giving prospects and donors. Reporting to the Senior Director of Gift Planning, this position collaborates closely with major giving, annual giving, stewardship, and hospital teams to develop fundraising priorities and strategies. The Associate Director uncovers planned giving opportunities within existing donor pipelines, follows up on leads from planned giving outreach, and contributes to events that advance cultivation and stewardship. This position supports planned giving marketing efforts and collaborates with the legal and finance teams. The Associate Director has an annual fundraising goal of $500,000 to $ million in planned gift commitments.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Master's Degree JD, MBA or related advanced degree (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

5 years Experience in gift development, marketing, financial planning or legal experience. (Required)
3 years Experience in planned giving or complex/blended major giving or estate/financial planning. (Preferred)

• Close 500K to 1M in planned gifts annually.

• Manage a portfolio of 75 donors and key prospects with a concentration to identify potential prospects within the pipeline to fulfill discovery and cultivation.

• Develop, solicit, and steward planned gift donors using customized strategies.

• Provide planned giving expertise and collaborate with gift officers to maximize giving through blended giving techniques and/or non-cash assets.

• Implement effective stewardship and cultivation strategies for planned giving donors, including communications, tours, events, and other engagement opportunities.

• Oversee planned giving marketing initiatives, including design, execution, and reporting effectiveness. This may include working directly with the Foundation communication and direct response teams to develop effective marketing tools and publications.

• Prepare and present proposals, execute appropriate gift documentation, and coordinate administration of estate gifts.

• Assist senior director of gift planning with training opportunities, including staff, board, volunteers with the planned gift options and use of various assets.

• Accomplish personalized goals set annually that align with Foundation goals, which include financial, activity, and pipeline movement.

• Document donor interactions, gift activity, and proposals in the database (e.g., Raiser's Edge) in a timely manner.

• Stay informed on changes in estate and tax law relevant to gift planning.

• Represent the Foundation at donor events and in the broader philanthropic and professional community.
