Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases using noninvasive techniques.
  • Participate in inpatient coverage , with the opportunity to perform Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) if desired.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers in the region to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Share general pediatric cardiology call coverage equally with 12+ full-time physicians in the group.
  • Collaborate with a team of highly respected specialists in fetal cardiology, electrophysiology, catheterization, cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease.
  • Work in conjunction with the Tampa Bay Adult Congenital Heart Center , which provides lifelong care for adult patients with congenital heart conditions.

Position Highlights

  • Inpatient Responsibilities : Participate in the inpatient pediatric cardiology rotation, including performing pre- and post-operative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
