**Engagement Management:**
+ Influences client executive management and partner senior management in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services for their industry to facilitate the closing of consulting deals.

+ Support the sales and delivery of multiple profitable projects simultaneously across the NAAC SaaS Cloud portfolio using Cloud Quality Standards and limit margin leakage when compared to the approved margin

+ Assist with the development of NAAC Industry services standards, methodology, processes and tools
+ Standardize Industry Architect delivery and engagement process, procedures, communications, reporting, automation across the Industry Architect practice

**Solution Creation and Management:**
+ Research & provide industry support, guidance and assistance in identifying potential industry solution offerings for Oracle's customers within Oracle ERP, EPM, SCM, CX or HCM product suites.
+ Collaborate and gain support from the Industry & Process leaders on the offering.
+ Work with the NAAC team to create a timeline, estimated effort, resources needed & any additional expenses required for a new offering, then build a business case to present to the Offerings council
+ Manage a team to design, build and test new, approved solutions. Then ensure new industry solution is incorporated into the overall NAAC Solution Set.
+ Work with Product Development and COE on sharing our solutions, guiding future product direction
+ Drive the transition of 'project built' industry specific solutions to offerings
+ Assist in building the marketing materials and driving the marketing for industry solutions to both external and internal customers
+ Provide leadership from architecture, development and design to Oracle and client teams as needed within the scope of application technologies
**Sales Support:**
+ Work with the Industry Leads and Client Partners to sell at key accounts representing your Industry expertise
+ Participate in and lead business development efforts tied to growing Oracle NAAC, including product, consulting and staffing
+ Identify, develop, and close deals on net new accounts with and without involvement from the Oracle sales team
+ Land and expand in existing accounts by identifying, and closing additional business
+ Contribute to the development of Oracle Collaboration Services Marketing assets such as customer reference database, playbooks, solutions, roadmaps and other practice level marketing items
+ Assist in developing a strong partnership with Oracle Sales, Oracle Partner Channels, Oracle Customer Success, Oracle Support and Oracle Development
**Thought Leadership and Innovation:**
+ Identify and drive industry specific solutions based upon project built assets
+ Contribute to thought leadership and vision for NAAC's Industry Architect Services -program development, solution development and architecture
+ Contribute through direct support, collaboration, leadership and teaming across all NAAC consulting service lines and sales teams including both selling and delivery efforts
+ Display leadership, support and contribution across NAAC corporate efforts including policy, process and other infrastructure needs
+ Continue personal growth and training, including staying current on Oracle Cloud functionality
**Skills and Experience:**
+ 15+ years of delivery oversight of medium to large scale ($500K to $0M) SaaS Cloud implementations with a similar consulting firm, software/technical provider, systems integrator, or Oracle Partner.
+ Experience successfully leading, solutioning and/or managing Oracle SaaS Cloud Implementations for ERP, CX, HCM, EPM and/or SCM.
+ Proven experience managing and motivating a team of matrixed resources and cross-functional processes.
+ Comfort and experience in communicating with senior level executives, key stakeholders, and project team members, both informally and in formal presentations.
+ Team-friendly with open communication, strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
+ Outstanding customer service with attention to detail and effective follow-through.

The Sr. Consultant will lead the work with the support of the project team to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services to the ERP migration project. Direct responsibility for the system and stage gate level assessment deliverables and work products produced along with the team. These deliverables and work products will be completed in accordance with our practice area's overall strategy, approach, and methodology. The consultant ensures all assessments and deliverables are high-quality and comprehensive, providing meaningful insights into the ERP Migration project in all dimensions. The consultant must be in SC, GA, or NC.
Broad experience in selected industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, education, etc.), technical competencies (e.g., technical writing, cloud/SaaS services, industry-leading ERP software products ), and management approaches (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) are required.
Project Delivery -

Oracle is the world's leading Cloud ERP provider and is moving aggressively to gain and capture market share. As part of the Oracle Solution Engineering team, you'll be selling into the State and Local Government agencies and non-profit entities. You will work with the sales team to engage with customers to leverage and expand their Oracle application investments. A Solution Engineer must be able to create and sell compelling solutions for the customer.
This highly rewarding role will offer the opportunity for you to leverage your knowledge and skills with ERP Cloud and Public Sector knowledge and work in unison with Oracle's best field sales executives, solving complex customer problems and translating customer requirements into delivered functional solutions - a critical role in driving the continued success of Oracle's Cloud Applications in North America.
**Role Overview:**
+ We are looking for an individual who has experience with ERP solutions with a strong Accounting (Government strongly desired) background.
+ As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, a Solution Engineer has a breadth of knowledge and understanding of solutions, industry best practices and broad business processes. Solution Engineers collaborate with the multi-pillar sales team to design innovative solutions that have industry-wide impact.
+ As a Solution Engineer you will work with a team of sales representatives focusing on developing account roadmaps, deal strategies, and then help on executing against both. This includes driving requirements gathering, helping with qualifying opportunities, assisting with RFx/Proposal efforts, creating win themes, delivering presentations at various levels up to and including the C level, as well as other selling events.
+ Position is remote, but a resource based in the Western United States is preferred.

+ Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle solutions to client business challenges. Facilitation of customer solution understanding through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations throughout the sales cycle.
+ As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction.
+ Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
+ Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads or supports all aspects of the sales process.
+ Technical thought leadership and innovation on the Cloud ERP platform
Additional Job Requirements:
+ Very strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required
+ Experience in Governmental Accounting is preferred.
+ Experience with Public Sector ERP solutions.
+ Accounting degree or Major in Accounting preferred
+ CPA Certification a plus
+ Based in the Western United States
**Skills:**
+ Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
+ Industries experience is preferred: Public Sector and non-profits
+ 3-year pre-sales or other related experience.
+ 7 years business experience with relevant business applications.
+ High-level understanding of all aspects of ERP: Financials, Procure to Pay, Plan to Build, Quote to Cash, **_Projects and Grants_** , Reporting and Analytics, Data Quality, and Supply Chain is desired.
+ Thorough knowledge of system and application design & In-depth knowledge of competitors.
+ Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
+ Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
+ Travel as needed, up to 50%
+ A/BS in Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
+ A CPA is strongly preferred.
**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations; provision of support throughout the sell. This presell position works alongside primary sales.
As a Solution Engineer you will be responsible for providing presales functional/technical support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Develop and deliver high quality standard and tailored Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent, major in Accounting desired.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $45.43 to $5.63 per hour; from: 94,500 to 178,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
