**What does a Relationship Manager, Retail do at Fiserv?**
As a Relationship Manager, you will be the main point of contact and information resource for our clients, as well as for sales support, marketing, and management, regarding ongoing operations. You will develop and implement account plans that effectively drive incremental Fiserv revenue through the creation of profitable deal structures and the establishment of innovative partnerships. You will collaborate closely with large retail clients, managing merchant products and solutions across various areas including Acquiring, Encryption/Tokenization, Debit Routing, Fraud Mitigation, Gift Card Solutions, Biller Product offerings, Output Solutions, and Omnichannel solutions. Your effective management of these client relationships and product portfolios will significantly contribute to Fiserv's growth and success.
**What you will do:**
+ Establish strong, long-term relationships with major retailers.
+ Identify and build a pipeline of revenue-generating opportunities through strategic partnerships.
+ Lead partnership retention through managing contract renegotiations and renewals in order to achieve profitable outcomes for Fiserv.
+ Cultivate and enhance relationships across multi-level teams within client organizations to identify and implement solutions to generate revenue growth and expansion opportunities.
+ Increase the Likely to Recommend score by cultivating deep strategic partnerships.
+ Achieve the assigned sales quotas by successfully renewing contracts and selling a range of products and services to the assigned client portfolio, collaborating with subject matter experts in product sales.
+ Manage customer retention through proactive communication, diligently following up on outstanding issues, and conducting professional contract negotiations.
**What you need to have:**
+ Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
+ 7+ years of sales, relationship management, business development and negotiation experience.
+ 7+ years of experience working with major retailers.
+ 7+ years of experience managing, growing relationships, and implementing cross-functional strategy to drive revenue growth with large clients.
+ Availability to travel domestically up to 60%.

Position Summary

The Claims Client Relationship Manager role is a key enabler to promoting Arch claims as a competitive differentiator by interfacing with both the broker and client, through acquisition of new business and retention of existing accounts, across multiple lines of business. This role involves managing dedicated clients with a focus on aligning services to client goals, proactively addressing challenges, building strong broker and client rapports, and ensuring customer satisfaction. It requires deep expertise in client relationship management, experience in negotiations, claims insurance knowledge and the ability to manage a client book with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

The Claims Client Relationship Manager differentiates Arch claims through understanding the clients individual needs and designing tailored claims solutions.

  • Responsible for a book of business that is comprised of many lines of business as well as industries
  • Aligns around clients goals by gaining a deep understanding of what client is trying to accomplish in their programs and how we can contribute to these goals
  • Support transition of new key clients from pre-quote through onboarding, ensuring a seamless and white glove experience but aligns to company culture, processes, and procedures
  • Establishes, maintains, and enhances strong business rapports with the broker and the client through regular communication throughout pre-bind, onboarding, and in-force servicing
  • Serves as a single point of contact for clients; highly responsive to requests and often identifies issues/challenges before the client
  • Participate in broker and/or client meetings including escalation discussions, when needed
  • Reviews and analyzes client performance, raises trends, successes, and risks as appropriate to support profitability
  • Facilitates timely and effective resolution of complex claims issues across all lines of business
  • Advocate for the client experience and service innovations, shares client trends and proposes improvements
  • Maintains up to date knowledge on all claims, manages and maintains client records with accuracy and precision, and meets all deadlines with associated systems
  • Conducts new team member training
  • Perform other duties, as assigned, appropriate to the position

+ Identify areas, based on transaction knowledge and fees charged, where revenues can be increased by charging additional fees when services change; advise management of these opportunities. Implement approved fee increases, fee discounts and waivers as identified or instructed and per established controls and procedure.
+ Provide coverage and support for other Relationship Mangers within assigned Section/Unit as required by absence.
+ Represent GCM and/or lead departmental projects and Corporate initiatives on a periodic basis.
+ Assist management with the development and operation of business products and processes.
+ May supervise and/or mentor less experience associates.
