Job Description
As a Client Service Associate within the Commercial Bank, you will resolve client requests while working in partnership with Service Operations, Sales partners, and Bankers located in the United States and across the globe.
Client Service Associates are a trusted member of the client's team and deeply connected to deliver the growth and success for an assigned portfolio. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for each client assigned to your portfolio. Interact with Owners, Chief Executive Officers, Presidents, Chief Financial Officers, Treasurers and other high level client contacts to help research and resolve issues for our Commercial Bank clients. Communicate through Zoom, email and phone to build strong relationships and provide a level of service that JP Morgan Chase customers have learned to expect.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead your assigned book of clients autonomously by delivering solutions and upholding JP Morgan Chase standards and operating principles
- Develop long term client relationships
- Proactively work to determine service improvements and solicit client input and feedback to drive client satisfaction
- Conduct annual relationship reviews with clients to identify potential customer-level fraud exposure and recommend appropriate products to mitigate risk or provide other efficiencies
- Proactively discuss client trends/issues with internal partners to further customize solutions for clients
- Actively participate in deal team meetings as new products and services are added to clients
- Influence internal partners to recommend products and services based on knowledge of client behaviors
- Learn and understand existing and upcoming technologies to support client consultation and requests
- Identify opportunities for use of digital tools to offer self-service solutions with a high degree of success
- Solicit feedback on product and service offerings in an effort to continuously adapt to the ever-changing commercial banking landscape
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Data Analytics & Change Management experience
- Ability to influence others without direct supervision
- Ability to provide quantifiable management reporting & present findings
- Project Management & Execution
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, negotiating and organizational skills
- Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to change
- Demonstrated team building skills and ability to work in a team environment
- 3+ years of client facing work experience
Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Treasury Services and/or Custom Card products
- Bachelor of Science or Business Administration Degree
- Passion for learning new operating models, technologies, and industry trends
- Google G suites / Microsoft Office adept

- Provide high quality, high touch service to J.P. Morgan Advisor clients across the deposit product offering.
- Manage time efficiently while processing a high volume of transactions by email and phone
- Develop interpersonal relationships with our Front Office teams
- Develop an understanding of the role Banking plays in the larger client relationship; manage complex client relationships, inquiries and a level one escalation for junior Client Service Associates
- Partner with leadership with the onboarding and training of new Client Service Associates
- Manage daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures
- Research, follow-up and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, advisors, product partners, branch/operations areas and other staff in a timely and professional manner
- Manage general account inquiries and maintenance, including but not limited to: transactions, balance, address changes and signer changes
- Demonstrate versatility and client responsiveness by performing all department functions as needed
- Coordinate and follow through on account inquiry, transaction and maintenance requests across products and services: United States Dollar and foreign currency monetary transactions, demographic updates, checkbook and accessory ordering, debit card requests, statement requests, transactions and balance inquiry, tax reporting inquiries, client exception requests
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of client service experience
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required (or must obtain within 180 days of employment).
- Ability to work with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to simultaneously manage and effectively prioritize incoming requests via email and phone
- Ability learn proprietary software and databases and adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
- Ability to analyze an inquiry and determine the appropriate solution leveraging available resources

As a Client Service Account Manager in the Client Onboarding and Service team, you will support a portfolio of large corporate clients, helping them effectively utilize our Payments Products and Services. By leveraging your expertise in client and product management, you will recommend strategies to drive client growth and enhance operational efficiency.
Our Service organization acts as a central hub for resolving client issues, supporting their business operations, identifying product and service gaps, and discovering development opportunities.
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as a key advisor and proactive partner to the client, providing advice and consultation on decision-making
- Act as a proactive partner, reaching out to clients to assess progress, client satisfaction, and potential impediments to a high level of service satisfaction
- Serve as the client's central point of resolution and escalation for service issues, liaising with bank partners to manage issues
- Convey complex ideas and client issues with confidence
- Identify and address product/service gaps and development opportunities, leveraging the full array of Treasury Services product capabilities
- Adhere to and ensure client's compliance with risk policies/practices and educate clients on new legal, regulatory, and cyber changes
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience
- Intermediate understanding of Treasury Products and Services, including knowledge of financial exposure and operational risk related to TS transactions
- Technical knowledge and comprehension to recommend value-added solutions for clients and partners
- Ability to present oral and written communication in an organized, clear, and confident manner
