**Your day at NTT DATA**
As a Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you'll play a key role in providing top-tier managed services to our clients. You will be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving cloud-based incidents and problems. By leveraging your deep technical expertise, you'll ensure our clients experience minimal disruptions and maximum efficiency. Your day will involve configuring, installing, testing, and managing client infrastructure to ensure it is always operational.
You will conduct necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts, ensuring that problems are identified and logged promptly. Your role includes investigating third-line support calls, identifying the root cause of issues, providing on-site technical support, and collaborating with third-party vendors when necessary. Additionally, you will perform random reviews of incidents and service requests monthly, analyze them, and recommend ways to improve quality.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will continuously provide feedback to clients, updating all necessary systems and portals. You will also proactively identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation.
When required, you may manage and implement projects within your technology domain, ensuring you meet client requirements and timelines effectively. Lastly, your role may include implementing and delivering disaster recovery functions and tests to ensure DATA protection and business continuity.

+ Extensive experience working within a medium to large ICT organization in an engineering function.
+ Proven experience in managed services with excellent knowledge of ITIL processes.
+ Proficiency in managing platforms, including Windows Server Administration, Linux Server Administration, Virtualization Administration, Server Hardware, and Storage Administration.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirement s:

The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer scope of responsibility includes implementation of the technical foundation for a variety of IaaS and PaaS services in public cloud service providers. This includes engaging with our security partners and delivering against the Shared Responsibility Model of each CSP. Develops the organization's infrastructure and platform Obsolescence plans, aligns implementation plans, and ensures effective integration of all IT services. Administers the company's enterprise public cloud hosted IaaS and PaaS environments, performing upgrades when necessary, monitoring system performance, planning for capacity and managing costs. Ensures solutions meet standard Service Level Agreements. The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
This role engineers, orchestrates, automates, and oversees public cloud compute, storage, network, DNS, Public Key Infrastructure, database, security, and policy.
The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture. May work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud based products/services, applications and solutions. Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates its performance and implements enhancements. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. ManTech is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area . In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse Big-Data cloud systems based upon documented requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides cloud software development/engineering services to include requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
- Work on a software development program proving software development engineering strategies for environments using AWS SDK's, Kubernetes Client Libraries, and other related cloud technologies.
- Design and develop infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
- Review and debug code.
- Perform validation and verification testing.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Or 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Two (2) years of experience in software development on systems utilizing cloud-related technologies.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, container) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).
Certification requirements:
One or more of the following is required or must be able to obtain one:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (CE Level 1 or 2)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (CE Level 1 or 2)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (CE Level 3)
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional (CE Level 3)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CE Level 3)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CE Level 3)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
