Clinical Practice:
1. Provides independent care of unit specific patient population; serves as Clinical Resource for others, utilizes and

Service/Quality:
1. Leads efforts to address Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators (NSQI) improvement opportunities;
develops/implements and evaluates action plans.
2. Leads performance improvement initiatives by designing, implementing, evaluating, and disseminating results.
3. Monitors patient and unit safety standards; actively contributes to development and implementation of
improvement plans.
4. Coaches CNI and CNIIs on PI and/or evidence-based practice.
5. Complies with, participates and leads regulatory activities in the unit/division or organization
Leads in the development of Performance Improvement, or Evidence Based Practice, or research at the unit
level.
Unit Operations:
1. Performs charge role as scheduled; coaches new charge nurses.
2. Oversees unit orientation program. Plans clinical experiences for orientation.
3. Serves as a unit steward such as liaison for lab, nutrition, pharmacy, etc.
4. Mentors and coaches other nurses to advance their development and to maintain competencies required for the patient population served.
5. Orients nurses to unit level decision making structure and councils
Professional Development:
1. Serves as an expert preceptor, coach and mentor to new nurses, students and preceptors
A. Mentors and coaches unit leaders or those assuming leadership roles on councils or major governance
initiatives.
B. Leads unit processes for development of ancillary personnel's skills and development; leads unit
based peer review processes.
2. Actively engaged in advancing own practice; role model for others.
3. Demonstrates evidence of professional growth and development through at least one of the following:
A. Bachelors of Science in Nursing OR Specialty Certification with enrollment in BSN/higher nursing

Work Experience

- Plan, design, and manage the installation of fiber, coax, copper data cables, and structured cabling systems in commercial and multifamily properties, including pathways, equipment rooms, MDFs/IDFs, cable management, grounding/bonding, and deployment of cameras, access control systems, alarm systems, security systems, networking equipment, broadband infrastructure, and life-safety systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber optic cables, coax cables, copper data cables, cameras, CCTV systems, access control systems, alarm systems, intercoms, gate operators, networking equipment, and related infrastructure at customer properties.
- Install and terminate fiber, coax, and copper data cables for structured cabling systems, networking infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless access points), broadband systems, cameras, CCTV, access control systems (card readers, door hardware, intercoms, gate operators), alarm systems, security lighting, life-safety systems, and related equipment, leading and coordinating low-voltage installation teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with low-voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber/coax/copper connectivity, networking equipment, cameras, CCTV, access control, alarm systems, broadband infrastructure, security systems, and life-safety systems, including cable faults, connectivity issues, termination problems, grounding issues, signal quality, and system integration challenges.
- Serve as the supervising license holder: obtain permits for low-voltage installations, coordinate and pass inspections, ensure compliance with NEC and local codes for low-voltage systems, and maintain project documentation for each property.
- Lead and mentor low-voltage installation technicians and installers, assigning work, reviewing installation quality, managing project schedules and budgets, and enforcing safety practices, including ladder safety, proper cable handling, and jobsite safety standards.
- Serve as project manager for low-voltage installation projects, performing site surveys, developing detailed project quotes and estimates, collaborating with general contractors, IT contractors, and property managers, and planning phased installations in occupied commercial and multifamily environments with minimal tenant disruption.
- Own and execute preventative maintenance programs for low-voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber/coax/copper infrastructure, networking equipment, cameras, CCTV, access control, alarm systems, broadband infrastructure, security systems, and life-safety systems, including regular inspections, cable testing, equipment testing, and system performance verification.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical accounts, responding to system failures affecting cameras, access control, alarm systems, networking, broadband, life-safety, or security systems and coordinating with property staff and emergency services when required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Maryland Master Electrician license in good standing, with extensive experience in low-voltage installation, structured cabling, and related systems in commercial and multifamily environments (typically 8+ years combined experience in low-voltage and electrical work as defined by the state).
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) with emphasis on low-voltage system requirements (Articles 770, 800, 820, 830), relevant local codes, structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA-568, TIA-569, TIA-606), and life-safety requirements applicable to commercial and multifamily occupancies.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and permitting processes in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Prince Georges County, Frederick County, and Howard County.
- Strong ability to read and produce structured cabling diagrams, fiber/coax/copper cable layouts, network topology diagrams, security system drawings, and riser diagrams, and to coordinate with low-voltage design, security system design, alarm system design, and telecom design documents.
- Proficiency with low-voltage testing equipment (cable testers, fiber optic testers, network analyzers, OTDR, TDR, tone generators, multimeters) and installation tools, and ability to work safely at heights, in mechanical/electrical rooms, telecom closets, and in active residential and commercial settings.
- Proven project management, leadership, communication, and documentation skills, including experience directing crews, managing project schedules and budgets, and interacting with clients, inspectors, and general contractors.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience installing and terminating fiber, coax, and copper data cables, structured cabling systems, networking infrastructure, cameras, CCTV, access control systems, alarm systems, intercoms, smart locks, gate operators, parking controls, and PoE infrastructure in commercial and multifamily properties.
- Familiarity with design and maintenance of backup power for critical systems, including UPS, generators, transfer switches, and emergency/egress lighting for network/telecom equipment.
- Background working in a managed services environment with SLAs, ticketing systems, and change-management processes.
- OSHA safety training and experience implementing field safety programs.

- In this role, the Service Technician would be responsible for servicing various types of HVAC-related equipment following the company's standard of quality, policies, and the manufacturer's specifications. Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed. Provide necessary support to management and team members and communicate effectively with the team and customers, providing regular updates.

Requirements: Journeymen/Master HVAC technician with at least 4 years of commercial HVAC experience. This opportunity requires the candidate to have a valid driver’s license and have experience servicing commercial systems for corporate, institutional, educational, industrial, or government facilities.
