**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
Responsible to support the Patient Advocate in the development and administration of a program, which nurtures and promotes positive communication between the patient and families and the staff and leadership involved during their time of need for services. The primary purpose of this role is to respond to patient/family concerns by facilitating communications between our patients/family members and caregivers and to improve and enhance the patient and family experience. The secondary function is to provide Medical Interpreting to the healthcare team, patients and family.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ Associate's degree or two (2) years equivalent experience
+ Minimum two (2) years experience: Customer Service and Conflict Resolution in a healthcare setting
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ Previous experience as a patient and family representative or patient advocate in healthcare setting.
