Pediatrician for Center for Children & Adolescent - Beautiful Greensboro NC

Cone Health and The Center for Children is in search of a Pediatrician to join our collaborative, quality-driven team which consists of 12 Primary Care Pediatricians, 1 Adolescent Health NP, integrated Behavioral Health clinicians, Parent Educators, and Lactation consultant.

The Tim and Carolynn Rice Center for Child and Adolescent Health serves patients from birth to age 21, providing well visits, sick-child care, and a wide range of services for children with complex medical and psychosocial health issues. We serve a diverse patient population with families that speak many different languages. With nurses, a lactation consultant, parent educators, care coordinators, and behavioral health clinicians onsite, we provide team-based care to best serve the needs of our patients and their caregivers.

The Center for Children is a teaching site for the UNC Pediatric Residency program. We provide evidence-based care in a medical home that provides training and education for residents, medical students and other allied health students.

Our Dermatology team is growing due to patient demand as well as the addition of our first MOHS surgery service with the organization.

The advanced practice provider (APP) will work as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill patients in the Cardiac ICU. The APP will collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, and the Advanced Heart Failure service to provide high quality critical care medicine. Daily responsibilities include rounding in the ICU, recovering post operative cardiac and vascular surgery patients, consulting on critically ill patients across the health system, and bedside procedures including central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and endotracheal intubation.

We are a collaborative team of APPs and physicians offering a supportive environment, but also a significant level of autonomy for the experienced provider. Schedule for this position is rotating days/nights/weekends, more specifics available upon request.

Job Overview

Cone Health is seeking a BC/BE Nocturnist Neurohospitalist for its neurosciences program at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Moses Cone Hospital is a teaching hospital, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and regional referral center. This is an excellent opportunity for a team-oriented Neurologist to join our collaborative, quality-driven 14-provider Neurohospitalists Team.

Ideal Candidate

Fellowship-trained in vascular or neurophysiology and proficient with acute stroke management.

• Competitive base salary in the mid-$300K range with quality & productivity incentives
• 7 on / 7 off schedule, 12-hour shifts, no call outside of on-site shifts, Epic EMR
• New Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with in-house Epileptologist
• Stroke-heavy position (60% Stroke), 18-bed Neuro ICU
• Consulting service with backup support from Neuro NP/PA & on-site Vascular Neurologists
