What You Will Be Doing
- Managing teams on large electrical projects
- Be responsible for projects from start to finish
- Work with upper management and Senior PM to ensure job safety and completion
- Develop and build strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget.
- Drive division profitability through effective project execution.
- Develop and lead project management technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments and capacity planning.
- Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes used by the department to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
- Review the overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific process design methodology for individual projects as required.
- Ensure schedule requirements are met for all projects. Readily adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
- Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during and after project completion.
- Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting.
- Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and project delivery.
- Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks and successes.
- 3+ years of experience of electrical project management experience
- Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
- Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio.
- Exceptional initiative, execution and communication skills, both oral and written.

The Estimator or Preconstruction Manager is responsible for providing both conceptual and detailed cost estimations for the ground-up construction of a variety of types of multifamily residential projects. This position is also responsible for collaborating with and participating in the planning design and construction document phases. - Development and updating of pricing models which are used in establishing costs in the underwriting of new projects

- Demolish, replace or construct walls, including framing, drywall and other finish-out functions
- Light electrical work; changing bulbs, rewiring or adjusting wiring within a frame or wiring for new connections, switches and outlets
- Light plumbing work; removing, remodeling or installing new plumbing pipes and fixtures
- General cleaning, scrubbing, and mopping of units
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements as noted on building plans or reasonably implied
- Participate in and practice 6S and Lean company initiative in the workplace
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Prior experience in construction or related work required
- Able to work outside in variable weather conditions
- Ability to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines
- Ability to use mathematics to calculate length, width, depth, etc. as it relates to construction and accuracy of specs and requirements
- Ability to follow spoken and written instruction and work in fast paced construction environment with minimal guidance from leads or supervisors
- Ability to safely perform all tasks and understand Company's safety policies and procedures
- Deliver a high-quality output consistent with the Company's construction standards
- Able to take, record and follow standard measurements and cut or separate materials to specific measurements or quantities
- Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objects
- Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activities
- Valid Driver's License
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Carpentry, electrical, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, VCT flooring or other specialties a plus
