Job Description

As a Concrete Finisher, you will contribute to job sites across Northern California, Southern California, the Southwest US, and Pacific Northwest US. This travel-based position requires nearly all work to occur on the road, with job durations ranging from 1 to 3 weeks. You will be part of a cross-functional team of 4 to 6 members handling all trades required to complete the work. The team will remain consistent throughout the job and from job to job, allowing for team cohesion and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide obsessive attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship in concrete formwork, site layout, and concrete finish
  • Evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying hazards
  • Interact with all levels of management and work effectively with other people
  • Use hand and power tools to complete tasks
  • Think outside the box and find innovative solutions
  • Train new employees and educate other members of the organization about construction implementation
  • Support powerpack and solar panel installations between concrete projects
Requirements
  • Ability to produce parts lists, work plans, and as-built drawings for work performed
  • Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required
  • Proficiency with operating excavators, bobcats, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts
  • OSHA-10 certification and CPR-First Aid training
  • Ability to use trade tools, meters, technology, and equipment to complete the job
  • Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and work at heights
  • Valid driver's license required, with flexibility to work on weekends and/or overtime

Responsibilities:
  • Hold pre-construction tactics (Plan Constructability Review, Site Logistics and Schedule Coordination)
  • Superior ability to manage commitments - make requests, hold promises, gather assertions, provide assessments
  • Create, maintain and enforce a safe jobsite environment
  • Produce, maintain and execute schedule
  • Help to ensure compliance with budget
  • Supervise and coordinate all construction activity, including those of trade contractors
  • Ensure project materials and workmanship meet company quality standards and design requirements
  • Obtain necessary information from engineers, designers, inspectors, municipal/provincial authorities and clients.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience working in a Superintendent role
  • Experience in Multi-Family Unit Construction
  • Experience in Vertical Concrete Apprenticeship or work in related trades helpful or preferred in some instances
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and company operations, including construction specifications, construction plans, building materials, methods, and procedures
  • Proven competency and training to lead the safety program on the job-site
  • Proven experience in leading large subcontractor teams as a Superintendent
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and other operational systems
  • Experience leading and assessing trade performance on the job site
  • In-depth knowledge of all required and special inspections.
  • Ability to resolve issues at the field level and escalate to the proper authority for resolution.

Allied Universal is looking to hire a Site Manager. The Site Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including hiring, training, disciplining and terminating staff. **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Supervise the day to day security operations of an assigned client site
+ Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support
+ Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
+ Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
+ Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
+ Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
+ Assure regular communication of issues or program with Client
+ Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately

+ Develop / maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific OPM and post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staff
+ Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists
+ Take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting his needs; meet with regularly, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ Capably utilize WinTeam for scheduling and billing, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, invoice Aging by tiers, Training Summary and Training Detail reports) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
+ Enforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks, executive memos and on the portal
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Four year degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field
+ Previous Contract Security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience
+ At least 2 years of business management/operations/supervisory experience (depending on size/scope of client).

+ Experience in hiring, developing, motivating and retaining quality staff
